Communism

I like Democracy but if the Republicans took over then it would be gret.
do you mean that the republicans aint for democracy?

I am told that Communism (the far Left) is different from Nazism (the far Right). The idea is ludicrous. The far Left, as symbolised by Josef Stalin, believes in centralised control, military dictatorship, and concentration camps. The far Right, as symbolised by Adolf Hitler, believes in centralised control, military dictatorship, and concentration camps. Spot the difference? Of course not. When you peel away the smoke-screen rhetoric, they are the same. Yet these two “opposites” went to war with each other and across the world the Communists go on “anti-Nazi” marches and Nazis protest against the Communists. Conflict through the ages has not been between opposites, but versions of the same state of mind: the desire to control others. Communism and Nazism did not fight for freedom in the
Second World War; it was a battle to decide which aspect of the same
thought pattern would control the vast lands of Eastern Europe.

I see “Socialists” claiming to be different from “Capitalists”. Not at their core they are not. Socialism believes in taking more and more from the Earth and using these “resources” to produce more and more “things” at the expense of the planet. Capitalism believes in taking more and more from the Earth and using these “resources” to produce more and more “things” at the expense of the planet. Socialism believes that this production should be controlled by the few at the centre who dictate the economic pQlicy. Capitalism believes in the survival of the strongest which leads to control by the few at the centre, who dictate economic policy. On the fundamentals, they are two sides of the same thought wave and yet socialism and capitalism (cartelism) are portrayed as opposite dogmas offering an alternative view. On the Right, they wish to stop the free flow of information which challenges their dogma.
On the Left, the Robot Radicals, as I call them, wish to stop the free flow of information which challenges their dogma. The Right seek to assassinate the character of those who disagree with them and to deny a public platform for their views. The Left, the Robot Radicals, seek to assassinate the character of those who disagree with them and to deny a public platform for their views. Again, spot the difference?

Well, Communism is good for ants. Human nature is individulistic. Ambition and greed are fuel for progress.

Nazism was a form of fascism, fascism is a mixture of far right and far left ideologies. Stalinism was the perversion of Marx and Lenin's works in which a small minority had control over a worker majority, which is anathema to Communism principles.
Neither are prime examples of the left or the right of the political spectrum, because they were mixtures of some of the worst of both wings.
Why are they alike? Both were totalitarian dictatorships.

No one is trying to stop the free flow of your particular information, Deano, but I suspect if they did, no one would mind all that much.

the biggest problem with communism is that there is no motivation for the people. all the people get the same share of food, so why bother working hard if you will still get the same amount?

Well, I suppose you bother to work so that the country prospers, and if the "country as a whole prospers then your "same amount" will increase. This only works in theory as human beings are too lazy, selfish and greedy for it to truly work.

But look at the USSR. In a country that big, if someone stopped working hard they would not see a difference in the amount of food they recieved. One thing that makes capitalism work is that working harder = better profit. People are more motivated

Like I said a true Communist state cannot occur because people are lazy, greedy and selfish. The ruling powers in the U.S.S.R. and the people of the U.S.S.R. did not receive equality.

Working harder = better profit. Isn't necessarily true.
A model works as hard as a doctor? An actor works as hard as a scientist?
There are those who work hard in capitalist countries and are still poor. I know it eases conscience to say the single mother making minimum wage, that doesn't cover expenses, and having to take handouts from the Salvation Army, in order to feed and clothe her children, should just work harder and then she'd be rich - but that's not the case.

I guess working harder means you will earn more money than if you were lazy and sat on ur ass. Doesnt mean other people will make more money doing less work
