Well as far as throwbacks go...

Re-quoting lines just for the sake of requoting them..."Your thoughts betray you..." how many freakin' times? The first line Obi-Wan says is "I have a bad feeling about this." C'mon...

If I hear another "Gundark, Spice Mine, etc." reference...I'll shoot someone.

the Fett family??? FFS...that is just silly and dumb. Its just either a marketing ploy or Lucas' inability to be creative anymore.

We now have THREE astroid fields in Star Wars? One was awesome...two was stupid...three is f*cking lame.

Obi-Wan hiding by attaching his ship to an astroid mirroring the Falcon...dumb.

Owen and Beru...what purpose did they play in AOTC except Lucas needed them to take Luke in EpIII, while they could have played a cool part in EpII...all they did was mug for the camera and make us quesiton why they don't remember the droids in EpIV.

Now we have Chewbacca?

Jeez...enough is enough.

I agree... though I don't think I feel as strongly about it as you do 😄

I do think that Chewie was going too far, but what can ya do?

I don't think it'll turn out too bad, but it woulda been better without all that

Some are okay, some just... are so blatant, that as you said, makes me want to hurl. But, other than that, the movies are good. Just... way too intentional stuff. is bad.

Don't get me wrong...I love throwbacks...just not the ones that are blatantly out of the way and awkward.

Okay off topic for saying this but, does anyone have any good Star wars tracks that I can download? Mp3? I just had a nestalgic feeling of wanting to listen to them.

Duel of fates?

I'm actually working on an EDIT of the entire saga...just highlighting certain themes and moments from all six films. Should be done in a few days....that should be great for nostalgia.

I have TPM done in 11:45 (Although I'm scanning UE for good material...but I'm really happy with what I have. I wanted to start using AOTC, but my CD is scratched and I'm trying to find a hi-bit rate copy online (can anyone thow me a bone?)

No... but check MF.com and you'll find the 256 kbps ROTS soundtrack 😉

tlbauerle maybe its not scratched, its just that AOTC OST couldnt be read on PC or MAC...
so, is the Emperor's theme yes or no in the ROTS OST? because i cant hear it anywhere, but some reviews say so....

I believe if he sees scratches, that may be the cause..

Hiho!
Does anybody know if there's a working Torrent for 256 kbps ROTS soundtrack? Can't find anything yet! B.t.w. w.t.f. is MF.com?

Nah...My Disc is okay after some heavy cleaning....(Although its my burned copy...loaned my good one to my brother and that's across the country...so I'm using a 192k off the internet...ugh...)

256 up at www.millenniumfalcon.com and links will be gone soon.

So on my SAGA SOUNDTRACK...TPM times out at 15:34 AOTC goes to 34:24 (Which is surprising because I really don't care for the soundtrack....)

I'll start adding ROTS next...I have a feeling this is a double disc album.

You know, if there is one track I have always wanted, it is the recording of Lapti Nek actually used in ROTJ, not the awful re-recording featured on the original OST and the four-disc box set, and released as a music video/single too, I believe.
Not that one, the recording used in the original film.

Actually - two tracks I've always wanted.

Another one from the original Rebo Band (none of this Jedi Rocks crap!) - the source music from the Sail Barge, I believe it is the same track heard earlier in the palace (after 3PO says: "He agrees!" when the price for Chewie is settled.)
Groovy as hell!
Never even heard any version of that track surfacing on an official release.
Anyone else happen to know anything about either of those tracks or whether they have ever surfaced on some bootleg Williams album or something...?

http://starwars.sonyclassical.com/

what about an ULTIMATE OST for EP2?? when will that come?

not enough good music in AOTC to have one. And plus I don't think anyone will want to dish out 25$ bucks just for the soundtrack.

tlbauerle, you should make a PT disc then a OT disc. That would even things out nicely. Oh and are you going to make this cd public for us to hear?

Darth E-Vader, Millenium falcon is a star wars fansite. They have been one of the top sources for new spoilers, pictures, etc. They have extreme rules that are weird and they cuss and use foul language like its going out of style.

PS: I'm not bashing MF.com.

I finally sucumbed and bought the CD

For what? AOTC?

Yes...I'll make the album public...

Although I'm having trouble with the edit at the end of AOTC....

I can either go from the Wedding Scene ACROSS THE STARS directly into REVENGE OF THE SITH...but the key change is weird (Well its weird anyways...) or try something else. This version of ATS is in a different key than the "single" cut...making an edit difficult.

I'm working on other options...

When I start cutting the EPISODE III section...I need to know scene descriptions for the cues...can anyone help me out?

tlbauerle, When you get to the OT, I hope you keep Jedi Rocks out of the equation...
...and use the Ewoks' Nub Nub song rather than the risible pan pipes affair from the Sepcial Edition...
😉

Actually...I'm dumping all source music and treating it more as a symphony and telling a story musically...

If you take the new title theme at the end of JEDI in context with DOTF, ATS, and BOTH...it fits well.

Any help on spoilers for these EpIII cues?

OK, probably a wise choice...
(I'll always prefer Nub Nub though...)

(I see a three disc set with a bonus disc of source music coming up 😉 )

Also, I wasn't really following the PT soundtracks at the time so I'm not entirely up to speed with the released versions:
Thee were two versions of TPM, right?
The regular one and a two-disc Limited Edition.
Yet I can only find one version of the AOTC soundtrack - one disc with one bonus track (On the Conveyor Belt), correct?
How come I have downloaded a AOTC "bonus disc" with 22 tracks on it?
Does anyone know the origins of this disc, and would any of these tracks be any use to you, tbauerle - I'll post a list of the cues from that disc if you want...

I'll have a think about those ROTS cues too - not too sure off the top of my head...
