The background for this one was pretty weird.

Lots of elements, but the biggest being 10 or so large Spider-Men merged (2 layers of 5) that covered the entire background, but with different effects.

Get out...😐 The background is loaded with stuff.

I know, it doesn't look like it though. A bit more contrast on the background would bring out more depth in it, I think.

The thing is, when the background is more in focus, it looked like crap. 😛 But without those there the background was really too plain.

Usually, yes. But there was no other way to throw a border on this one without it looking out of place. In the original entry it was too thick, even at 50% opacity and a regular 1 px. black border would feel like cheating.

I was going to, but the font I was using doesn't recognize that character, and I didn't want to switch fonts just for that. 😛
