Hey, sweet Mario stuff.

And like Lance was inspired by TOH, and in turn Aurora was too, I made one too. It's not as cool as your ones, but it's funny so I think that makes up for it. 🙂 Thought about it for the competition, but since it's not an original concept, I figured it wasn't the best idea to submit it.

But thanks for the idea...and here's the link to mine....it's also in my gallery.

Ok this is what I need to know.

Where can I find sprites and background pieces? I've been searching all day for Super Mario Bros. 3 backgrounds and/or pieces of backgrounds so I can mix and match(I have the sprites) so I can do another one of these.

I searched google for a long time, I got some of the sprites I used in mine from http://videogamesprites.net/ but the background was just a ton of googling. The bg I used was tiny and I couldn't resize it larget without it getting messed up so I had to zoom in until it was big enough and then screencap it and use the screencap 😂

You see, the background on mine is entirely made up of elements I put together. I placed the hill there, I placed the clouds where they are, each brick of the ground was placed there by me...I want to do that with Mario 3. 😬

I got my background from just typing in "Super Mario 3" into a Yahoo image search...that might help.

Good luck though. And dang...even more respect knowing you pieced together that whole sig background. 👆

Thanks! 😄 It was going to be a bit more detailed. But I ran out of time this morning and had to go to work. 😖 I'm upping it a bit now. It looks great on the KMC black.

Yeah that's the style I use. The different shade of gray really makes it work.
