And the mark of the beast is your credit card number, a number on the forehead and on the hand. The number on the forehead is you number in you mind and the one on the hand is the card in your hand. 😆

JuryProblem is the English language.
Worship in English has multiple meanings. That is why the church uses Latin as an official language.
Veneration of Mary and Saints falls under the second English definition of worship
2. love somebody deeply: to love, admire, or respect somebody or something greatly and perhaps excessively or unquestioningly
But without the excessively or unquestioningly aspect.
Note the church uses three different words that you wish to equate to being the same even though you have been shown what the definition is in the catechism which is an official Church document.
The encyclopedia you are using for reference is the 1917 encyclopedia which had approval from a bishop but is not an official church document.
I’m thinking that people had a better grasp of English in 1917 which at best is a very imprecise language
1. Latria - worship of God yes
2. Dulia - veneration honor and love
3. Hyperdulia - veneration honor and love for the mother of ChristNeither Dulia nor Hyperdulia are worship of a or the deity.
The Church has never equated Mary with God, She is the most perfect servant of God an example to us all of how to live and follow Christ.
Or do you think she is not a good example to follow?
Peace

Again, as the Catholic Encyclopedia itself said:
There are different degrees of this WORSHIP [one and the same essense of worship: they fall under one meaning of worship: only they differ in degrees: not in meaning: hope you recognize that]
1. Latria - worship of God
2. Dulia - worship of the saints
3. Hyperdulia - worship of Mary
Those are not my own defintions. Those were Catholic Encyclopedia's.
I am not saying that Dulia and Hyperdulia are worship of God. The Catholic Encyclopedia says Dulia and Hyperdulia are degrees of WORSHIP.
And oh, does the Catholic really believe that Mary is a servant of God? So why would one of your saints proclaim that Mary has a greater power which wields over the one who is God? Ask St. Louis DeMontfort. 🙂

The Predestines came from the Catholics. Before that time there was no other church. This idea that the Catholic Church is not the church that Jesus build is not supportable by history. The fact is that the emperor Constantine converted to Christianity at around 300 AD or so and there was no other church.
Jesus who was called Christos, "Anointed, "took his title from Middle-Eastern saviors gods like Adonis and Tammus, forn of the Virgin Sea-goddess, Aphrodite-Maria, or Ishtar-Mari...Jesus was a composit of many gods...Middle Eastern traditions always had a long line of slain and cannibalized Saviors extending back to prehistory. At first kings, they became king-surrogates or sacred..
Yes, they tried to burn all other writings but the ones they considered for their own cause...then persecuted the people who still held on to those other beliefs. For instance there were writings that talked about Jesus not being the one that was crucified and laughing about that fact...The church took all who believed this and made them sign confessions that they no longer believed this and that the man laughing was a stranger and not Jesus...
