I'd be willing to bet that Dumbledore is Harry's great-grandfather or something, why else should he take such an interest in Harry?
There's a deeper relationship hinted at in OotP when Dumbledore is talking to Harry in his office after Sirius has died.< < dude..harry's the last hope to stop voldemort he even says it a bunch of times..hagrid does 2. he's the boy that lives. he takes interest in him because he's the last remaining wizard who can stand up against evil. and Dumbledore is like this with all students just it shows for harry more
hm...imo..ron and hermonie will hook up and then something will happwen and they'll break up and she'l run to harry and ron will already be pissed so he'll go evil and voldemort will b like your first mission is to kill dumbeldore. the one who never gave u anything like he gave harry.. then that explaions why jk said someone from the ministry dies. it makes sense then it would put harry vs ron. and then voldemort will hold ron hostage and say you have 2 choises save rons life or kill me and then harry will hald to choose (your opinion on who he'll choose) mine..he'll try and save ron and voldemort being the coolest person he is will say thats why your weak. you actually pick one over the other and kill him and vanish setting up for book 7 where harry snaps
