Book Six : Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince [merged]

Do you think it has to be literate?

god..no..jk only knows. wha..Dumbledore? ....is there any evidence that he is half blood of any kind?

Most likely he is a pureblood wizard. And he would seem to old to be called "Prince."

I don't think it is Dumbledore... So, JKR said there are actually clues of this in all the books...

I also got a few questions....what does this statement mean??

"'And I answer myself, perhaps they believed a still-greater power could exist, one that could vanquish even Lord Voldermort...perhaps they now pay allegiance to another...perhaps that champion of commoners, of mudblood and muggles, albus dumberldore"
What does it mean by champion of commoners...

This statement is the the fourth book...

I think we should all ponder this for at least 2 minutes...detective

Also, someone said something about clues showing up in all books? Is that clues as to who the HBP is? Who's up for reading 3000 pages of HP tonight?!

About Lily (Evans) Potter...
I was looking at the FAQ portion of JKR's website concerning the Mud-blood, pureblood, half blood stuff and she says this:

"Therefore Harry would be considered only 'half' wizard because of his mother's grandparents."

What about his mother's PARENTS? What exactly is Lily Potter's pedigree?

Hold on... I'm going to re-read that ^

Maybe she made a mistake.... I don't think that that is a clue...

perhaps it is...

How often does JKR say something she doesn't mean to....

well she did saud the name was the sumthin of sumthin next day she changed it

I thought about it and I don't think Dubledore could be the HBP because a) Somebody would have said something especaily(i know that is spelled wrong, i forgot how to spell it 😮 ) the Malfoys and b)you would think he'd be at least a king. tomato

I'm sorry, what?

And by the way about Dumbledore at least being a king, what if he refused the crown? He would still be a prince by birth, but would not have been coronated as the king. Not that I think Dumbledore is the HBP, but I think that that could be a possible explanation.

Furthermore I've been thinking about Hagrid as the possible HBP, and I don't know, is that just too obvious?

After reading the new FAQ's from JKR's website, I'm now under the impression that the clue in CoS has nothing to do w/ the identity of the HBP, but instead is something Harry discovers which is built upon in the 6th book, possibly something about the Malfoy family...

I was so dissapointed to read that Arthur Weasley wasn't going to be the next Minister of Magic...does that cross out him being the Minister in book 7? Maybe the Book 6 Minister will die...

no i just made a bad joke, thats why i put the tomato smilie up

Not you Angelsflame265, I couldn't understand what Hobbit Dude was saying, that's why I quoted it...

I just don't hink that it's a main character like Dumbledore or Hagrid, but I'm most likely wrong.

no not the i'm sorry what part, the part after that. . . were having trouble figuring out what ppl mean today lol

I am too. 😖

I think it has to be an important character from CoS; it seems kinda late in the series to introduce a new important character. Dumbledore could easily be half human, half demiguise

now I'm confused...moving on...
