JKR updated her FAQ and bashed down a lot of my ideas today lol ok Tom Riddle is not the half-blood prince, and Mr.Weasly won't be the next minister 😮. She also said " a discovery Harry made in CoS that foreshadows something he finds out in HBP

he made a lot of discoveries in CoS...hard to narrow down

as to the Dursley revealing what he saw...he didn't see anything because Muggles cannot see Dementors.

The discovery in CoS...maybe that he has a connection with Slytherin?

Dudley didnt see the dementors but he did say he heard things in his head, i am curious to know what those things are.

yeah I hope we find out what it is....would'nt it be funny if when the dementor attacked him he remembered himself whn he was skinny!!! if it is even possible

i was just happy to find out that we can finally put the whole "tom riddle" idea to rest! 🙂 and she basically told us that we're not gunna figure out who the half blood prince is...theres a clue in CoS that foreshadows harry's discoveries in HBP.

absolutly. Petunia has got to know something about Harry's history or at least about her family history. I think JK said that we'd find out the things that Dudely heard in his head when the dementors attacked him.

Maybe the discovery is something about Hagrid's expulsion from Hogwarts...or something Draco revealed when he and Ron were under the effects of the Polyjuice Potion....It could still be something about Tom Riddle's past...something about his muggle father? Or maybe something to do w/ the Parseltongue...

My guess on the Half Blood Prince is the Bloody Baron...I know a bit farfetched but don't you wonder why Peeves is so afraid of the BB? Peeves to me is like a jesterly duded whom is afraid of...the prince? I know, sounds stupid but it's my guess. The HBP doesn't have to be alive.

hey that could be true because i think Jk had said something about how nobody had guessed right yet or something like that and I dont think the bloody baron has been mentioned yet... plus it makes sense

what if the half blood prince was someone who could help Harry destroy Voldermorth?

since JKR intended Half Blood prince to be the title for CoS it could be Tom Riddle - we don't know yet.

oh gosh! Korrime, I NEVER thought of Hagrid!! Perhaps it could be! He coud be a prince and didn't even know it. That would be a surprise.

i think it says somewhere in the fifth book that hagrids mom was the queen of giants
