Why does everyone hate T3???

How were the special effects??

I have been eagerly anticipating the release of the third edition of the Terminator series, “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines”. Although the film had a mostly new cast, the film still lived up to the first two films in my opinion. “T3” delivered plenty of awesome action sequences, as expected. Whether you are a fan of the “Terminator” series, or not, I would recommend this film for anyone looking for an entertaining summer flick.

this movie kicked my ass. it was one hour and 50 minutes of nonstop ass kicking. the plot was great too. who would have expected that the termintator had that relationship to john conner (sorry don't know how to do that spoiler thing, but don't want to give it away). and the ending was completely unexpected. i loved it. i think it was better than t1 and definatly on par (if not better) with t2. that fat bastard ebert didn't like it because he said there was nothing to think about. what a moron. it completely turned everything we learned or thought in t2 on it's ear. things are inevitable and its weird how if you think about it, if the machines didn't go back would john even be in the place he is in the future. oh man.... i just creamed my pants thinking about that movie. gotta go see it again.

And it was terrible!

This movie is so bad it's not even funny. It is nowhere near in the same league as the first two. Anyone who claims they like it is probably a paid PR representative.

Don't waste your money or your time. This movie is an insult to the fans.

I'm gonna see it hope no one see's that Legally Blonde movie over terminator.Hope it's good.

The commando team which took the complex destroyed the Time Portal but _only to the extent that Michael Biehn's character knew that their intent was to do so_.

Which means that more death mechs could have been sent back BEFORE he was and either they didn't discover this until after he had left or they didn't tell him (to keep him focussed if nothing else, John Connor knew his dad wasn't going to live long enough to worry about 'intermediate threats' to the future and despite the implications of T3, it's inherent to the notion of T2 that John didn't (time had changed) know beforehand and therefore _did not_ tell his dad to warn his mother about T2 secondary threats).

Thus if Reese, was not the last man through the portal but merely the _last man to know it's destruction was planned_ they could have sent hundreds before and after his leaving and he would still only have (uncertainty principle in action: time vs. space datapoint prediction causals) the knowledge he was told before his recursion looped back.

In theory, it's even possible that a special independent force of Terminators executed a final retaking of the facility themselves or used an alternate site and that a veritable time-space struggle over the very displacement platform occured.

Multiple times.

Neat stuff, time travel. Short of a 'Langoliers' type collapse of causality behind present-time, the implications are nearly endless until you hit a Morgaine styled deliberate split from recursion which _cannot fit_ within the envelope of possible futures (i.e. more important is the past to setting the future than the present is to learning the lessons of the past or the future itself is to defining the extent of consequences deriving from either).

Terminator3

I don't know what the critic were thinking, but this movie is the worst movie. The only good part is Arnold and some action scene. I think Nick Stahl, Claire Danes and the T-X chick made the movie suck. Through the whole movie I wanted Arnold to self Destruct and Kill of John Conner and his future wife, play by Claire Dane.

T3 Sucks!!!!!!

THERE WAS NO REASON TO MAKE THIS MOVIE.... THEY SHOULD'VE LEFT IT AT TERMINATOR 2..... CRAZINESS.. MADNESS... ALL OF IT.... ARNOLD'S TOO OLD..... HE'S LIKE.. I'LL BE BACK.. AFTER I TAKE MY MEDICINE....GOSH 😘 😠 💃

Wow, after that "intelligent" argument, what can I say?

go home troll. it obvious you're only the forum to bash this movie. everyone i know that saw it liked it. some more than others, but it is by far not a bad movie. to say it insults fans is in of itself an insult. that movie kicked ass.

what movie did you see?

Like someone else said, unexpected ending! Takes the series in a new direction. I honestly like this better than part one and right behind part 2. GREAT MOVIE!

I saw legally blond yesterday!!!!!!!!!! It was really fun and purty!
You guys should see it! yeah.

Arnie's in great shape. I'm assuming his health is great.

Is the movie good? I'm gonna see it soon.

i think its all rubbish (no offense guys im not a fan)

Hmmmm why am i getting mixed reviews here about T3, some says its good and new twist etc and some say its empty but good effects, i shall try to find for myself soon.

For those who saw T3 and did not like it...

Just wondering why you did not like T3? I'm a big fan of all the Terminator movies and T3 was definately the way I wanted to be...

I liked it...to a point. I thought the storyline was good (even giving poetic license to John Connor's age and when he was supposedly conceived and born). However, I would have liked closure, they save humanity, not this open ended thing they did that was an obvious setup for another sequel.

3 Terminator movies is kind of pushing it, now they're going to make T4? I'll see it with an open mind, but I can gurantee you most won't. And for Christ's sake, could we PLEASE have it take place in the future??!!! They've already done way too much in the past.

I'm actually really excited to see the war in the future and what the directors/writers are going to come up!
