As they all settled down for breakfast and harry had just finished kippers eggs and bacon and was just reaching for some toast when the usual fluttering of owls enter was heard entering the great hall .Harry was talking to Ron about Quiddich when hedwig landed next to him."Hello hedwig,"he said giving her a peice of bacon.She hooted contentedly and left for the owlry.He open it and with a smile recognised hagrids messy handwriting.
It read:
Harry,
hows everythin' goin.how 'bout you ron and hermione come down fer a visit roud 11.bring tha' cloak wit' yer.
Hagrid.
A bit confused about why hagrid will want him out at that time of night Harry opened his mouth to inform hermione about the news when he remembered that he should not tell them in front of Ron's girlfriend.jus then hermione who had recieved her Daily Prophet and had taken a sip of pumkin juice had spat it all out again upon seeing the front page of the prophet.
Harry looked over her shoulder and was shocked to see a picture of a clearly dead..........................
Someone else fill in that part please.Make it someone harry cares about but not not someone as close as the weasleys or hermione.

Harry choked on his pumpkin jucie. How could Moody be dead?! He should have been more protected while being in the Order. Harry thought to himself. If Moody wasn't safe, then NOONE is!
"How...how could...this.." Ron said pointing at the paper.
"It doesn't make any sence." Hermione agreed.

"Wait, what else does the artical say?" Harry asked, "Where did he die and how?!?!"
"Just wait a second!" Hermione screamed back. A few moments later as Hermione scimed down the page she saw where he died, and her mouth dropped open.
"What is it?" Harry asked, trying to look over her shoulder.
"He died...right..." Hermione stopped.
"Right where?!?!" Ron yelled at Hermione.
"Here!" She screamed.
"Here? In Hogwarts?" Harry asked.
"No, right outside the grounds." Hermione said trying to hold back the tears.
"Don't cry, we'll be fine." Harry said, hugging Hermione.
"But Moody's dead! and he died right next to us!" Ron yelled hystaricilly (sp).
"Ron where are you going?" Harry called after him, but not wanting to let go of the crying Hermione.
"Anywhere, but here!!" Ron yelled over his shoulder. then Brook runs over to Harry and Hermione.
"Where's Ron? i saw him running off, and screaming like a mad-man!" Brook yelled acusingly (sp).
"He saw this and I don't know, he freaked out over-time." Hermione said, wipping away the tears.
"Who is this?" Brook asked, looking at the dead man on the front cover.
"How could you not know mad-eye Moody? He was a famous auror in his time and then went a little paranoid and was then known as 'mad-eye' because of his one robotic eye that can see through anything, including invisibility cloaks. He was a teacher two years ago, but it was actually a death-eater in descise. His real name was Alastor..."
"Okay, i get it. Sorry, i don't pay much attention to that sort of stuff." Brook said and ran after Ron.
"That's weird. Everyone i know has at least heard of Moody."
"Who knows." Harry said as he finished his breakfast.
