Hey, I'm new i joined today but i think Vader would definitely smoke maul even obi-wan said if he practiced his lightsaber techniques he would rival master yoda as a swordsman and yoda could definitely kill maul and that's the kind of category Vader is in when it comes to swordplay but to really know i guess we will have to see ROTS and his fight with obi-wan.

I think it would be a intense match. I would have to say Anakin/ Darth Vader would win.

Vader would get hit once or twice, get super pissed and grab Maul by the throat, and then choke him out.

If Maul was more powerful then Vader then wouldn't he keep looking because if he found someone more powerful once he could probably do it again.

Vader would crush Maul force choke or a fatal lightsaber blow whatever he would go down for the count hands down.

In lightsaber combat though I really think Maul has the advantage because he's so much faster than mech-Vader. But it is true that Vader could just kill Maul with Force choke or something to that extent. If Maul can manage to kill Vader before Vader can use the Force then Maul wins. If he can't, then Vader chokes him and Vader wins.

Maul would just force push Vader when he tried to choke him out....havent you played jediknight2...lol.....counter a force choke with a force push...lol.....I think Maul would have a good chance against Vader(annie vader) mech vader would lose for sure but I cant decide on annieversion vs maul......hmmmm

K I change that last comment bout mechvader losing I forgot bout the ole comics..Well everyone thinks mech vader is slow ...but something I forgot is his suit enhances all his abilities...speed strength jumping all of it...it injects chemicals into his body pumps up his adrenlin too...Reading old comics and Im sure in books too Vader isnt lacking in speed or manuverability....so Im gonna go with mechVADER! (In the earlier years of the suit...lol)

Is this really even a question Vader would wipe the floor with Maul. Vader had more controll of himself and was a superior Jedi. Now Vader vs. Lando Calrissian is a battle worth watching. boxing

Han is the better pilot. He taught Lando how to fly, and eventually Lando just let his droid fly him everywhere. Even when he was flying through the Death Star, he had a Sullustan with him, and they're notorious for being good pilots and co pilots.

Vader wins a fight with a resurrected Maul in a Star Wars Tales graphic novel. Barely though, Maul gets the upper hand and says that 'your weak, what can you hate enough to fuel the darkside' as Maul prepares to behead Vader; Vader says 'myself' and ignite's his lightsaber through his own stomach/circuitry and gets Maul in the chest. thin its SW Tales Volume 3.
