okay, 1st off... yeah, she can go mock3, sure... but storm has VERY poor acceleration. If she could just go mock 3 whenever she wished, she would pretty much never be hit by anything while in the air, but fact is, shes knocked down quite a bit.
and about my edit. Yeah, sure storm is able to think up a weather power and use it right after, but scott doesnt even have to do that... all he has to do is open his eyes...
all storm has to do is think about it- its basically as quick as opening ur eye cause they are both a command from the brain. and storm has great acceleration. yeah she has been knocked down and cyke has missed before. it would be impossible to go from immoblr to mach three just like that. but she can buld up speeds very quickly. she has created a tornado in seconds before and flying is a lot easier.
The Lightning debate goes like this.
Storm: Are those rubber soled Boots Scott
Cyke: Why yes they are
Storm: So your grounded then
Cyke: Yep
Storm: F**K!
Cyke: ZAP!
Storm is a powerful woman but if she gets hit shes just that a Human woman one hit from the Beam is all he needs so if she uses lightning and hes grounded shes finished.
And in the few seconds it takes her to generate a whirlwind or Ice etc etc I think Cyclops can hit her and its lights out.

Well, that site obviously doesn't work. Would you mind providing as much information about that encounter as possible. People on this board I notice are taking a lot of liberties with their references, and I'd like to start cracking down on it....

alright i'll try to find info i just saw a pic of it though -and i wouldn't provide false info on this thread. i mean its just a simple fight and they're just fictional characters. i wouldn't mind if storm lost to beak (not that she would) cause its just a character. if she stands a chance then yeah i'll fight for her but i wouldn't lie about it
I'm not saying you're making it up. I think the vast majority of citation mistakes on this board are honest ones....people just misremember. With references (either issue numbers, storyline names, detailed summaries, or chronological information), it becomes easier for other people to confirm what you're saying. Or correct you if you're mistook it.
