ok.......... the point is you are both (or all) right..... it's basically the same thing as lightning but it shouldn't technically be called lightning.... i'll go for a no-prize on this and offer an explanation
Storm probably didn't have a physics degree when she developed these powers and just got used to calling it "lightning" because it is so similar......
you are all arguing semantics........ and it is completely irrelevant....... yes, she can "shoot" electricity from her hands...... does it really matter what anyone calls this = NO
so yes, she can fire "lightning" at Carnage....... will he stand around and let her = NO........ he'll fire out a tendril and gut her if she stays still long enough to aim at him
forget the semantics and try a different tactic or Storm is one dead "lightning" wielder
she is perfectly capable of dodging, and she doesn't even have to hit him to hurt him. just a little monsoon which will be created in seconds i might add then a few lightning bolts and the ground isn't safe anymore. if he jumps and my guess he isn't that smart to know what she is doing then he's an easier target to hit. and if he stays on the ground then he's affected leaving him open for a second attack which will most be lightning(strong electrical charge) and this can be over 50,000 degrees easily
yes she is able to dodge bullets- unless highly trained assasins that are shooting at her while she is in front of them miss her?? and not excatley a monsoon but she just needs a little rain i just like the word monsoon so i used it. and thats if he knows where she is. rmeember they start away from eachother.
and you were bringing up stuff cyke would do that's out of character??? Do you have any idea how many people could die??? And wouldnt that also kind of... umm... maybe... set off the symbiote-sense? I mean... even if it didnt, seeing someone fly and make lightning and stuff ought to kind of give her position away...
this isn't out of character for storm- she flies up creates a ton opf rain and throws lightning. the trees might nit go on fire cause she might not hit them. then she flies around while the rain is getting heavier and throws more lightning but then stops throwing lightning to create a below zero temperature in the enviroment. then does the lightning stunt thing all the while of flying around really fast so she's s hard target to hit.
and... you still have yet to point out how she knows where carnage is... so far, you claim carnage cant just attack her, because he hasnt seen her... so are you saying that she spontaneously flys up into the air and starts all this massive weather bs just for the fun of it... you know... in case the random supervillian happens to be crossing into the park that day???
Flooding the forest which wouldn't happen in seconds because that is a friggen ton of water, like hours of rain, then striking the water would nullify your hope of her beating carnage with heat.
Oooor if you mean the rain will conduct the current outward, that wouldn't transfer nearly as much heat as a bolt.
If she flys up out of the forest she'll have no chance of finding Carnage under the canopy. He's faster and more mobile than Beast, who you said would have a chance agsinst Storm, so if she is flying low like she likes to do, he can easily pounce out and latch onto her.
And Jubilee with Squidboy taped to her back would of dodged those very same bullets. Thugs do not aim well.

he's right.......(god i feel dirty for agreeing with Swanky)...... thugs aims are worse than Stormtroopers..... Carnage, however, has enhanced everything and has even hit Spider-Man with his projectiles..... and he is a thousand times the bullet dodger Storm could ever hope to be
