They say evil comes from Free will.
What I mean is the god created us, and he gave us free will.
Since he gave us free will, some of us made some really bad choices which made evil.
The only way god could make evil go away is by giving up our free will. Then we would not be able to really love god, or anything else because love is a choice. Making someone do it is not love.
What do you think?
Yep, I agree we have free will. I choose to be a good.
Peace,
Amanda

Evil comes from a very deep seeded root of insecurity that has to spout its self out.
Yeah, I agree. You would watch these bad guys on T.V. (I know, it is just T.V) and when they are asked, why they became so evil; it always seems to go back to their insecurities as a child.

There are very many people that have had horrendous experience. Why is it that some turn out to be humanitarians, some not, and some just going on as if nothing happened.
I believe some of it is just a punishment. People get soooo angry, and people get really hurt. Some have this need to express it more than others do.
Almost right...
On the forum home page, this thread started out with:
"Is money really the root of all evil?"
The correct saying is actually:
"LOVE of money is the root of all evil."
- a not so subtle distinction, which means that it is man's greed that leads to evil deeds. Of course there are a few other things (ignorance, anger, stupidity, prejudice, to name a few) that contribute to actions that we might call evil, but we should remember that terms like evil and freewill are philosophical concepts, created and defined by humans, and are hard to pin down sometimes. That which is evil in one culture is perfectly reasonable in another; for example, honor killings in some Islamic societies. Many Americans think that the death penalty is justice... some (me included) think it is state sponsored murder. It gets tricky defining these things.
I took a psychology course last year... And although I might be socially inferior to all you cause I'm an arrogant 17 year old... But I believe that love breeds hate... Elaborating would take too long... But I'll give an example that I've formulated... A Nazi loves his country, therefore he will kill Jews and fight for the father land, but an ally... Their love tells them that what a nazi does is wrong... And hates him for it... As a result, a circle thingy of love and hate
