Dudes, I just wanna make this clear that I am NOT the one having this issue. I have a girl (flesh and bone) and do the nasty with her whenever I please(anyway I digress) But I do KNOW someone, a friend who by today's standard would be termed a geek, and he is obsessed with anime and some comic book chicks. I mean he would rather surf the net downloading pics and building websites honoring these cyber chicks then hang out at 7/11 or go to the mall to try and pick REAL babes. I am kinda scared for him, you know???But I posted this just to make sure that I wasn't the one tripping and that this might turn into something real unhealthy.

LordFear, try taking your homeboy to somewhere where there aren't alot of people to hate on his game. Spot a chick by herself that seems to be pretty down-to-earth and run interfernce for him(meaning put in a good word for him with the girl) show her your friend and tell her he is looking at her, but he is intimated to talk to her cause she is so beautiful. Then, she'll start blushin' and sh#t, Then, She'll go over to him on her own out of curiousity and flattery. Once she is over there, its' up to him to seal-the-deal.

It's not fair to criticise people who have low-esteem when it comes to meeting real women. Especially people who may not have the confidence or the looks to catch attention from women. People like this having obsessions about unreal characters are merely escaping from the depression of having no-one and having to suffice with a personality or look created on the page rather than face the truth that they won't find anyone who will love them for who they are.

Well anyway my friend does have a low-esteem issue like LordShadow said.
I feel like he is growing increasingly more distant from reality and is actually developing some kind of phobia of the opposite sex.
I think he has a genuine fear of women or being in close proximity to them.
Reason why????I don't know because he comes from a well rounded family at least to me it appears well rounded.
