KOTOR III

yeah that was a lot. you pretty much found out years worth of info for what happened to revan after k1. I really don't know why k2 sucked so bad. it had so much going for it and then just keeled over and died.

I know why (although I don't believe it really sucked, it just wasn't AS good). Its because they had to cut out alot of fun side quests and a whole planet. I think the Endgame sequence was its major failure, I loved it up until after I had killed Nihilus.

Me too, except it died in the Onderon part of the Endgame. All you had to do was force lightning and everyone dropped dead.

The thing about Kae, well it is certainly possible, but Kreia says she despises the force and wants to kill the force itself, and I doubt that Handmaiden's mom would hate the force. Another thing about Handmaiden not knowing Kreia was there is totally bogus. One they met after you leave Telos, and two, Handmaiden takes Kreia to Atris after you do the Dantooine Part of the Endgame.

It is a possibility that Kae is Kreia in the whole hating the force thing because Kae probably saw the destruction that it brought, and two, Kreia seemed to know alot about Handmaidens past.

I don't know for sure tho, but who ever came up with this idea is probably on to something. Keep up the ideas

Bacardi

Kreai is so lame, i don't want to know anything about her, she is so lame.

Lol... thats nice, but you are still forgetting how Kreia could disappear in front of Mical... therefore Kreia could look like a Dinosaur and be asking handmaiden to take her to Atris. Kreia is one tricky bizotch. I think after the Jedi banished Kae for having Handmaiden, she became Darth Traya when she went to Malachor V. After she was cast out of Malachor, she embraced the Grey teaching and became Kreia.

Didn't we all, when we wore counting are best and worst stuff in KOTOR series, said Kreia is the worst.

Yes, I believe we did, but she also played a key role in the storyline and in the character's development as well as the endgame sequence and learning more about Revan. Please don't undermine those things.

So basically everybody in the entire galaxy hated Kreia as much as we do and we all just told her to go kill her self. The Jedi kicked her out, the sith kicked her out, Revan kicked her out. She has no friends and no life. The only reason she embraced the grey is because nobody else was grey so she couldn't get kicked out anymore. What an idiot.

Did you call me an idiot, thats rude.

What game did you play? They didn't explain anything.
Essentially, all they say is that Revan went to the Dark Side in order to stop the growing darkness that was Nihilus - a plot-development that the E.U. writers have apparently dropped in the recent Darth Bane media.

I wanted to know what happened to Revan after he left his KotOR-companions. Where did he go? What did he do? Did he die?

????

I know that, but what happened to him there? Did he die?

EDIT: Sorry if my info's wrong, but I believe I read in a blurb somewhere that in the recent Darth Bane-related novel he finds a holocron created by "the Dark Lord Revan," who makes it quite clear that he was truly evil. I'll try to find the link.

Sorry for the double-post, but I can't re-edit my post.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've checked my info., and I appear to be correct. According to my sources, Darth Bane finds a Sith Holocron made by Revan in the recently released Darth Bane: Path of Destruction. Apparently, the holocron gives Bane vast knowledge of the Sith, perhaps eshewing any ideas that Revan only turned to the Dark Side for some sort of ethical reason.

It also clears up the controversy of Revan's gender in the following sentence: "Revan had been a true Sith Lord, unlike the simpering Masters who bowed to Kaan and his Brotherhood. And soon all of his knowledge — his knowledge of the dark side — would belong to Bane," (D.B.: P.D.).

There is some text given on http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Darth_Revan's_holocron, but the validity of this article is debatable.

If we wanted a Kotnr (Knights of the New Republic) then we could have something in the NJO series, however this is Knights of the OLD Republic and we should stick to the current story and find out what happened after Malachor in the K2 endgame, or do as Count Makashi said and do something from the actual Ancient Sith
i personnaly think that a NJO game would be cool, but it would be best if there was a EAW version of the game, because it's set and you'd have to follow certain things you wouldn't have multiple endings or be able to go to light and dark side, and it wouldn't be fun like that, unless you made it like Force Unleashed on the Wii

You guys are retards about the Revan thing, don't follow what other series say about Revan, IN THE KOTOR SERIES it is made clear that Revan was willing to sacrifice ANYTHING to save the Republic, lets leave it at that. About that NJO and EAW stuff, both of those are set MANY MANY MANY years after the KOTOR series, and this post is based on KOTOR 3, so please stay on subject.

Its entirely relevant. The entire question of "Darth Bane" is considered of much more worth (and probably of more validity) that KotOR in the E.U.

I was just quoting some sources, though. I never said I agreed with them.

Let me repeat what I just said "this post is based on KOTOR 3, so please stay on subject." Therefore this post is also based on the KOTOR series, regardless of the worth of Darth Bane.

I understand that.
It just seems to me that the prospect of any further KotOR-projects seems jeopardized by such developments. And I guarantee that both BioWare and Obsidian have moved on to other (and perhaps more monetarily successful) intellectual properties, (i.e., games).

I'd like to recant my earlier statement that any future KotOR-projects should be abandoned. I've started to replay the games within the past few days, and I've begun to rediscover my love for them.

Oh goody, welcome to The Club 😉

Do we get a secret handshake.
