KOTOR III

I've gotta go start the plotline for a sequel, even though everything has been resolved already.

That is not entirely true, it ended similarly to the way A new hope ended, however this can be discussed in the Mass Effect thread, anyway, I'm pretty sure we were talking about Ordo's unneccisary hatred of KOTOR.

No, he has every right to hate the game due to his taste, but to bash it without control and belittle those who do like it is complete and utter trolling.

gosh when do i start reading? I started on pg 1 and got to pg 7 before i realized that was 2006.. and I clicked last and there were 140 pgs.. help?

Try starting with nov. 2008 and work your way up from there.

For the first time I've have been here, (I started at around page 50 IIRC) I haven't seen the thread go so off topic. In the last 4 pages, the only touch on Kotor has been the name ORDO and the damn lightsabers. Even though Mass Effect was made by BioWare it really has nothing to do with K3. Neither do Final Fantasy or any other jrpgs. And arguing about names and their origins or the awards mass effects won doesn't help with speculation either. If you don't want this thread deleted or changed, for the first time I agree with Ush and say focus on the topic. And Atticus, no need to be so angry. I'm still here so not everybody who comes here is a troll or flamer. =D

Well since SW:TOR is coming out i doubt SW:KOTOR III will be out for quite a while i'm guessing your looking at least in 2010 folks.

The Old Republic is KOTOR3...just incase people were confused by the title or anything...

its the star of the Great Sith War...you know, the one that everyone talks about in the films, saying the sith having been around for millenia...so yeah

I can't help it, people may feel that it's wrong to think it, but i'm only going by the facts that an interview with the makers on the official website said...sorry if people feel otherwise...

honestly, i'm gonna see how it goes and decide if its worthy of being classed as a sequel

The Bioware devs did say that SWTOR was KOTOR III, and went on to say it was KOTOR 4, 5, 6, 7 8, 9, etc. in terms of content.

I think their intention is to make The Old Republic the sort of game that you could play as though it were KOTOR 3, insofar as that rather than typical MMO fare, it will allow you to solo through the game and play through a story. But at the same time, you could also play with friends, socialize, or otherwise do MMO stuff.

Should just make KotOR 3 then make SW:TOR seperately. I woulda bought both.

i remember i can to this stie cause i found it searching for kotor 3, back in Jan 07, stayed here for few month... left now im back and its 140 pages lol
