Although I usually oppose user-submitted storylines... that one was actually pretty cool. I'm pretty sure they are taking out turn-based combat, so it won't be the same thing over and over. If you want to see what I believe KOTOR 3 will be like, just type in Mass Effect at google. About the age thing, I'm not quite sure if I am against that or for it. If they do implement you as growing older... then wouldn't you become stronger the longer you played (possibly leading to people going to a safe place and effectively "leveling up" just by leaving their system running). My idea is to have you age with XP, or levels, so that it's guaranteed that you cannot cheat your age (and therefore strength and wisdom that comes with age). I think this would work very well... but I wish we could contact LA and tell them this genius stuff we make.
About the Exile's and Revan's class.... Revan was called the Heart of the Force, and the Exile was called.... hmmm.... what was it.... a... gap in the force or sumfin. I believe that is really the best way to define it. No special Yoda crap, just leave it to what the NPC's said.
Ur right about the time thing, I totally forgot that others would cheat, but i was thinking for me, and i dont cheat at games. The things with the classes(after doing some follow up stuff) came from someone who wanted Exile and Revan in game as playable characters, but not the main character. They were just wondering what revan and the Exile would be called, CLASS wise, not what others had referred to them as. You know, like consulars, sentinels, or guardians, but since they are really all of them, i made a new class that is called True Master of the Force cuz they have mastered everything.
anyway, When they do take out turn based combat, then they will be able to add lots of new moves. Who ever said that they couldnt, well, your wrong, they can, but they need more than three scripted moves for each attack. Maybe 10-15 and then rather than cycling them, there needs to be a random attack script chooser. I did like how as you got more powerful in K2, your moves changed slightly, well in K3 they need to develop that more fully, so that it doesnt get boring watching your dude do the same stuff.
Along will all that, there needs to be special moves, such as lightsaber impale so that when you sneak up on folks, and they dont notice you, you activate your saber, shove it thru their abdomen, and while you are doing that, you must cover their mouth so that they dont make noise.
Anyway, I think we should have people submit special moves like i just mentioned, it will be a new thing and maybe the devs will see some of the ideas....
Wow... that is genius as well.... using the stealth field generator and (my idea) a Lightknife to like slit their throat and good morbid stuff. I was also thinking abot the Lightwhip and (my idea again) a vibro-axe. Like the Gamorrheans had, but with a vibroblade. Ahhhhh.... it would be so funny to see a beastly Jedi with axes.
...yeah sorry to disrupt the current topic but i just found this on some site...
'errrm well I heard from my very good sources Bioware are announcing its existance in July, yes they have kept it secret (obviously). Its already actually on the Bioware website but you cant see it because its locked and covered up but if you click on games and then theres a drop down menu, at the bottom in the under development bit theres a game marked 'next gen game' which is actually locked, but yeah...thats kotor3, believe me...the offical site is being developed and they are announcing it in july 07 if i already havent said and it will be released hopefully in november07/december07/january08!!! so there you go...if you don't believe me, just wait and find out!'
just thought I would show you that!
Well that is certainly great news, but for now can we get back to the killer moves for the jedi...? 🙂

EDIT*
I just went and looked at what the other guy had talked about, how do we know if this is K3 and not some other game, who is your source? Sorry to contradict myself about getting back to the other topic, but i dont want anyone to get false hope, and then we have to read through all the bitchin comments...
ANOTHER EDIT...
I did some further research and what you told us looks really similar to this:
One of my old colleagues that I used to work with sent me an IM last night that got me pretty pumped. We’re both Star Wars fans, and more importantly, gamers. He currently works for a branch of Pandemic studios that is responsible for all the web development of their game franchises. They just got the call to begin designing a KotoR 3 website. The scheduled date to go live is in July 2007.
That came from another website that is crazy about kotor...
Maybe you could elaborate further on who you are and how you are so sure that this really is K3...
That site cannot be trusted really.... besides it being an enormously long post... we still don't know until BioWare or LA announces it. Also, we have already gone over that site... and we really can't trust it.
To the dude who posted, I would also like to know your source.
About the kickass Jedi moves... i wanna be able to lift up a guy and hit him into a wall repeatedly.

Lol... you are very lazy, bud. All you have to type is "TSLRP", hehe. But I gotcha. There haven't been any Progress Reports since April 3, 2007. Mostly they work on the HK Factory on the Czerka Base Sublevel. They are also working on the Genoharadan quests, which should own. They only have.... 25 issues left to deal with, out of the 816 they started with. That's called progress, but I don't believe that they are including Restoration into that, I think it's just about glitches, text problems, block issues and crash issues. Still good progress though.
