Erm, Star Trek has nothing to do with Star Wars. It was never used for inspiration.

Without Star Trek, there would still be Star Wars.

Without Flash Gordon, and those old sci-fi B-movies and serials from the 50's, there would be no Star Wars.

Just setting the record straight. Star Trek could easily be removed from history and all that is good would still be here. It didn't "invent" anything. The whole space exploration thing had been done before it came along. Just because it's popular doesn't mean it started anything.

And yes, you guessed it, I hate Star Trek.
