Those characters you listed are just the type that the JLA defeat.

Eventually, I think the JLA numbers would be a factor over time. Yes Thor and SS are studs, but there is just too much to account for. MM, WW, Supes, and Hal or Kyle would give them a good fight alone. Add the other GL and Flash...na-uh, ain't happening. Only way is if the fight takes place nears multiple suns/stars where the power cosmic becomes too great a factor.

Yes, kgkg. It's my understanding the power cosmic is enhanced (exponentially) when SS is near sources like stars.

There are many rumors floating in the air which people here consider as a fact.

Once again, the jla would kick thor and surfer asses. They are powerful, but man, superman, green lantern, wonder woman , martian manhunter, the flash and the second lantern is too much for thor and surfer. The fantastic four has given many problems to surfer, so, this group is too much for the surfer and thor. Jla wins. Its so difficult to understand? And no way that surfer alone could beat the jla, that is fanboysm. Its so absurd as say superman alone could beat the avengers.

Superman is not faster than the Silver Surfer in any respect. He can't move faster than Silver Surfer, he can't think faster than Surfer, he can't react faster than Surfer, he can't fight faster than Silver Surfer.

Surfer cannot fly without the board. He can still run, move, and think at superspeed. If you don't believe me, read Tales to Astonish 93#.

People fail to understand that the surfboard is a part of his body, a construct of the power cosmic.

Fantastic 4? Get real. The Silver Sufer has never fought the Fantastic Four. He only fights cosmic beings, far above anyone the JLA fights. I'd like to see the JLA take on The Obliterator. Silver Surfer has never been defeated by anyone of the JLA's calibur. Never.

1. They will never touch him.

2. Anything GL creates, Surfer will absorb, as he has done in the past.

3. Superman is a non-factor. So is Wonder Woman.
