Why can't I just make you see,
That although life right now,
May be a great deal less than alright,
Life can and is worth living for,
But you don't see it that way,
Even though I have tried,
To convince you of this truth.
But I am not giving up on you,
Although you think that I should,
You are my friend, after all,
And forever will I be there for them,
That includes you too hun,
And I am extremely stubborn,
So expect me to always be here,
When you need a helping hand.
Hardly anyone's been in here since yesterday afternoon.... kind of scares me.... 😕.... but anyways, I finally got some poems finished hehe 😄
My Fondest Wish
I miss you more than words can say,
I think about you every day,
And if my fondest wish'd come true,
I'd now be cuddling next to you.
Life is sometimes so complicated,
And apart for a time we must be fated.
The day will shortly arrive, my dear,
When we're finally together here.
I wish I could prove my love to you,
Just like ordinary couples can do;
Alas, the distance between is too far,
But I am with you wherever you are.
Suffice it to say my heart you hold,
I hope this love will never grow cold,
And with you I will cherish each moment,
Forever, until my last breath is spent.
