Is Christianity the answer?

That's because ur not like JIA...he is not considerate of other people's perspectives in any way, what-so-ever. He is admittedly closed minded.

I used to be the same way....closed off to all suggestion that I could be wrong, blinded by my anger.

You are open minded and it shows. That is why people respect your perspective, because it sincerely your own and not a replica of someone else's.

Well!!! I should think about brushing up on my bible reading so I have some feedback in here then eh? 😉

You all are so full of compliments today. My ego is swelling. 😛 jk.

Ok, more seriously...I take that comment about my perspective being my own and all very kindly. I don't feel like the smartest thing around these parts and suck at putting forth anything substantial...but I have worked darn hard to put the past in the past and think for myself. So..thanks for that. 🙂

Christianity is NOT the answer. It is the start of psychological degeneration. It screws up perceptions and lives. But if it works for you then great. But remember you will need pills in the future to handle all your newly learned flaws that god can't fix.

Don't be stupid please and thank you.

Well it does in certain (if not many cases)...we wouldn't have to listen to arguements about how homosexuality is curable.

Funny...

Well, you CANNOT argue that Christianity has not been used for ignorant purposes.

No I CANNOT.

lol.

laughable, but not untrue. He isn't wrong. Nor is that the fault of its followers.

However, those who have repeatedly defended it are to blame.

People that follow the scriptures fully find that they are not perfect and flawed when in fact they are not. Living with the guilt that you are not perfect leads to psychological needs and cute little pills. Living with the fear of Hell leads one to a psychosis and dread. These emotions are in no way healthy to you or anyone in relation to you.

I recommend you read the whole scriptures because then you would know that you are not supposed to live with guilt or shame for there is no condemnation in Christ. Besides that, does knowing that you are not perfect make you psychotic? I didn't think so.

Fear of hell, there is nothing to be afraid of if you are in Christ, but you would only know that if you lived by the scriptures. Sorry, try again.

See? You are psychotic already. Your reality is deluded.

I pity you and your sad attempt at psychology.

There is no need to pity one who doesn't need Christ to get to where there going. Too bad you need Christ to get to where you think you are going.
