it was a trick question most people would say 1945. but the war was between Britain and Germany and there wasn't a true Germany until the Berlin Wall fell in 1989.

I never cheat the questions are just logical...

the only thing i can think of is that all other things like that ('?' for example) have a use.. '!' has really no use at least you don't need to use it... like if i wrote: How are you? i would have to put a question mark in because otherwise it is grammatically wrong. But if i was to write: Bang.. i could also write: Bang! and you get the same thing just with another character on the end...
