He is right. All mammal embryo's start of as females and the definite sexe is determined fairly late in it's development. By then we all ready have nipples.

Oww, I don't know the lyrebird (by that name at least). But my guess goes to or extreme volume or impressive sound mimicking abilities.

Have I told you about that blackbird I once saw, sounding just like a dialtone? I yelled 'pick up the phone man!' But it just went on going 'Trrring, trrrrrring' (it probably had call-ID and recognized it's ex's number)
