That last question was lame, apologies.

Now for a restart on this quiz of quizzes!

Some time ago a gang of scientists administrated drugs to spiders, to see how the dope would affect the spiders behaviour. The spider of choice was the common house-spider, and they mainly observed the spider's 'web-buiding under influence' techniques for analysis.

Here's the deal. Below will be the sorts of drugs used on the spiders, it's up to you to describe the sort of web a spider would make under the influence of each drug. Got all that? Here we go.

Marijuana
Speed
Caffeine
Sleeping pills ingredients
LSD

Caffeine, I remember watching the show and the web was really messed up.

The answer does not fit the question.

True alas. Describe how you think the webs would end up for each doped spider.
And before any anti-drugs comments arise, the final answer to this question can make quite a point on staying away from the nasty stuff.

How are we supposed to answer that though.

Caffeine - The Spider finishes two webs in half the time but forgets what it needed the webs for
Speed - The Spider finishes two webs in half the time but dies.
LSD - The Spider can't even make a web cause it sees giant donuts that want to make contact with its race
Marijuana - The Spider could make a web, but realizes it's not worth the ****ing effort and watches Cartoons instead
Sleeping Pill ingredients - The Spider turns radioactive and bites one of the students in the lab before dying. The confused boy walks out and runs on the street only to find himself facing a car speeding at him, but at the last second he manages to escape with a giant leap and sticks to a nearby wall realizing that with great powers comes great responsibility and also that the spider must have given him it's powers.

?

If I remember right the one on Marijuana was the best one.

My bad I didn't read the question all the way through, I remembered watching the show and thought he was asking the same question they did on the show and which drug affected the spider more.

This one wasn't about sheer facts, but about predicting results by your own thoughts and knowledge.

You got pretty close by the way!

Caffeine - the spider really goes to work, but ends up making a useless incoherent construction

Speed - spidey goes wild, starting a foundation for a giant web, but fails to finish it properly

Sleeping pills - Spider poops out like half an inch of webbing and then dozes off

LSD - the spider seems to forget the whole purpose of the web and just goes for it, creating cubes, pyramids and other useless structures

What Borat did not tell you about Kazakhstan...

Russia has been leasing a part of Kazakhstan since the 1950's for own purposes.
The question; What are the Russians doing there, and for bonuspoints, describe the controversy on these activities.

A bit over your heads? Come on, figure it out

Is it possible to levitate a living organism by magnetism?

Previous question remains open as well for the real smarties

My knowledge of Russia is pretty poor.. the only thing I can think of would be something to do with Russia's space program.. ?

I think that would be possible if you have a big enough magnet.

Holy shit, I thought this thread was lost in oblivion. Thanks for pulling it out of the mud Pitt!

You're obviously right on the frog levitation. Got a new question yourself?

What is the biggest rock in the world ?

Must admit I looked this one up, but in old school books though.

Is it Mount August, in Australia?

OK Eddie the mascot for Iron Maiden, what is his full name?

Yeah I will give you that.. it is Mount Augustus

I only found that out a few weeks ago.. before that I always thought it was Ayers rock..

I still cheated a bit on that one, dad collects maps and Atlas's, and has some books on stuff like that.

Ah well, Maiden's Eddie's full name is Edward the Head I believe, this time without peeking.
