Ok, how was smoking introduced into europe?

It was probably something to do with it being used to cure cancer or coughs or something stupid like that.

i remember seeing the first advert for cigarettes on TV and it was saying loads of things like cures coughs, can increase life span and so on.

i don't know the answer to this I'm just guessing lol.
