Besides the bosses weren't that cool.

The beings Dante fight whould off Vash in a sec (Heck normal demons is enough to take out Vash). 😄

Dante's brother Vergil was one of the bossess and he is not that easy to defeat. Mundus can summon lava Dragons to attack you. How about the bossess where all of the enemies that Dante fought fused together as one and he had to defeat them all at the same time. I surely know vergil put up a really good challenge. You had to like fight him three times in DMC1 and is always more stronger than he was before, the same with him in DMC3.

If a normal demon can get taken out with one shot then Vash could beat everybody in DMC 3

Sonic have you ever seen vash the stampede??? The way you talk about him is like hes some kid with a gun....

Dvampire who do you think would win...

VampireD vs Vash the stampede
VampireD vs Dante

What do you think would kill dante???

Stabed in the heart
Throat slit
Shot in the head
Blew up with a grenade
Arms and legs cut off
Shot 10 times
Hit by a rocket
Stabed 20 times
Shot 20 times
Shot in the head 20 times

vampireD that what im talking about ok i dont know if i can do this on this kind of thread but in a team battle betwen vash and dante vs VampireD and um who to pick wait i got it spawn who will win

You are welcome to make a Thread like that. That battle would be COOL. A Team battle!!!!!!!! 😄 😄 😄 😄

Wolfwood would blow Dante the fudge up. Vash>>>>>Wolfwood, Vash wins.

2 can play at your little game... (I know Wolfwood wouldn't actually beat Dante... But you're just being stupid and saying every single crap enemy from DMC would now beat Vash)

And as to Hit and Miss, the correct answers are:

1. Survives a few times...
2. Hmm... No idea if Dante actually needs to breathe or not (non DTified) I'm gonna say he dies, from losing both major blood vessels and the ability to breathe.
3. Survives
4. Thoroughly dead
5. Dead. He's no match for the Black Knight.
6. Depends where he gets shot... All in the head, he dies. Scattered across the body, he lives.
7. same as a grenade but more SO.
8. Depends where he's stabbed. To the heart, he probably dies...
9. See #6
10. Very dead.

That's the "what CAN kill Dante" thing, btw.

Dante has the ability to transform, but hitting people is pretty much a necessity for it to work. Vash, being much too fast to get hit, will not give Dante an opportunity to transform. It's the same exact thing as the Angel Arm argument. Neither one is valid, cuz neither is really useful at all in this fight.

I agree dizzle, but I want to see what VampireD thinks....

He doesn't think. He just essentially says "Dante wins cuz he's kool, and I like him" over and over and over again.

Again bullets in the head doesn't do anything to him, hes faster, way better close combat fighter, good with guns, dante has been stabed inthe heart (DMC1 and 3, you whould know this if you played any of his games), he could put energy into any weapon he picks up dealing even more damage, he uses demon magic to glide him through the air, fights demons that are far more powerful than Vash and any enemy from Trigun, he can stop time with quicksilver once he gains the abilty, his guns Ebony and Ivory are unlimited (Vash weapons are not), and his transformation (doesn't take long, you'll also know this if you have played any of his games before) is just overkill.

Dante wins. 😄

I gave my reasons why Dante will win this match! 😄 🙂

Vash doesn't stand a chance (sorry).

Dante made those twin guns of his, Ebony and Ivory. Like Dvampire said which is true, Dante never runs out of bullets because the bullets that he shoots out is magic. Also, it does seem that what ever weapon dante picks up, he transfers his power into it, making the weapon his own. Dante can still magical powers even if he is normal Dante.

You still have yet to provide any evidence for "faster" other than "he looks fast". Vash still beats the crap out of him speed wise.

Close combat is one of the things Vash doesn't really do. I'd say it's pretty safe to assume that he'd stay plenty far away from a guy chasing him with a sword. Especially with his massive speed advantage.

I said Dante can take a stab to the heart... I said he couldn't take them forever, but he can take a couple.

"Far more powerful" is an opinionated term. Most of the truly powerful ones require some transformation for him to even compete.

Vash has countered time slowing...

Unlimited ammo doesn't do much if you can't hit the guy... Vash avoids many kinds of automatic fire very easily.

And the transformations DO take a long time, if you aren't actively killing things. Which Dante won't be...

You need EVIDENCE to say stuff on Dante's behalf... You're just deciding to screw logic with most of them. Or ignoring facts with others.

When he use Superspeed it's like hes teleporting, Vash isn't that fast. He can also slow down time when he learns the quicksilver ability. Who has Vash fought against that could stop time?

Dante has been stabed in the heart, taken bullets to the head (and he was still talking to Lady), got stab by from all angles of his body and he was still walking, and got energy blast stab through his body.

Unlimited ammo very useful if your opponent isn't that fast and has been hit by slower foes before.

The transformation don't take long (DMC3 after his fight with his borther on level 7 is when he was able to use it anytime he wants, transformed against Sparda, he transformed to save Lucia in DMC2, you whould know this if you've played the game before.

Dante wins.

Lady shot a rocket at Dante and the whole screen slowed down like dante was controlling it and it should Dante riding on it. Dante is also extremely fast when he is in Devil Trigger. That's why one of his items was called speed demon.

Dante has the Tricker style that allows him to move really fast just like Vergil and dodges attacks really good with it too.

To the first part: Yes he is that fast. He dodged 3 separate guys firing automatic weapons from close range. Meryl comments that she could not SEE HIM MOVE. You're still saying "he looks fast". I need something better than that.

A little research goes a long way, I find. Dominique the Cyclops doesn't actually slow down time. She drugs people, making them many times slower. (same difference, really; he couldn't follow her with his eyes) Vash beat her. Pretty easily, actually. Dante doesn't stop time. He slows it down. It's a big difference.

I never said Dante couldn't take a bullet to the head. I said he couldn't take 20. There's another big difference.

Vash hasn't ever been hit by someone slower than him without some kind of plottish device... Usually, it's because A: He's a pacifist, doesn't want to hurt them. B: Saving someone else C: They are actually a lot faster than he is... Though as Dominique shows, they have to be a LOT faster.

Dante's spontaneous transformations have ALSO had some kind of plot induced thing involved... Usually, he's pissed. Or about to die. For the rest of the time, he needs to charge the meter. Seeing as Vash didn't off Trish right before this fight, I don't see Dante spontaneously transforming.

Once again, the Devil Triggers are just as useful as the Angel Arm... Not at all. Or we could just say both work 😉. The result is the same.

When Dante use his speed it's like hes teleporting (Like the characters from Fist of the North Star, DBZ, Fushigi Yugi, and countless other). Dante is able to use his transformation anytime he wants to, as I have posted already. And I never said Vash couldn't use his Angel Arm, as it whould matter when hes dead in just a few seconds. Dominique or Vash is no faster than Kenshin (who I think is much faster than Vash).

Like I said, Dante is way out of Vashes league. A couple of bullet wounds or if Dante fight him up close the match will be over before it even gets started. 🙂

KENSHIN? How many people who can equal Kenshin's speed were devastated by a rich guy with a primitive gattling gun? That's what I thought. Kenshin is only slightly above peak human, if that. Most of his apparent speed is just pure skill. (Kenshin's a badass, but nothing real special physically)

So you compare Dante to other people who "look real fast". Wow. (hint, you can't actually follow a LOT of things with your eyes. Bullets included. Dante "teleporting" doesn't put him even close to Vash)

Ok, Vash opens up and fires his Angel Arm. Dante dies, game over. It's just as plausible as "Dante randomly decides to transform, so he does".

Vash won't fight close... His only weapons are the guns, why would he get in close? Dante cannot take headshots for all eternity. 20 or so WILL put him down.

Vash try too use his Angel Arm and dies. Dante also is great at long range, and is able to take alot more than Vash. But I'm sure Dante will go h2h with Vash, using his far better speed and skill with his sword. And Dante is very fast, hes not going to stand right in front of somebody whos trying to harm him. And as I said before, bullets doesn't stop him at all.

Dante wins.
