Yeah it reminded me of 13 Ghost aswell in the flash back things - I agree but i also thought the movie was alright lol haahha i am all mixed up between good bits and bad bits now, it also reminded me of the shining "all work and no play makes jack a dull boy"

I think the horror genre is going down, it all seems to be remakes.

Remake of Japan's Horror movies, and now reports that Michael Bay's company (Amityville, Texas chainsaw....) is going to remake Alfred Hitchcock's 'The Birds', why don't we just accept the classics and leave them alone.

When will horror fans be scared again? (not too soon by the look of things)

No. I mean it wasnt really a remake if you think about it

Well i think classics are classics but how scary are they honestly by todays movie standards? then add 10 years for when we are older. they will just be a joke, i like remade films if they are done well they should complement the original

yeah i know, but this movie was crap, too much over-rated.

i liked Texas chainsaw remake much more than this. This movie used too many special effects, which takes away the scaryness.

Also why did they keep showing the house at the same camera angle????

if Amityville was the best movie you have ever seen ... you need to get out and see other movies... it must be the only movie you have seen...
