Marijunna should be legal for consumption, I see no differance from it to alchahol. It impares your judgement, dulls your senses, and is bad for you. But if that were the case alchahol would've been reprohibited. And it's not.
The answer is not banning narcotics, but punishing those who abuse them. I don't care what a person smokes or ingests in the privacy of thier home, or even if they want to go to a bar and smoke a blunt, (assuming the bar permits it..) but when they get behind a wheel under the influence and risk everybody's life, they should be dragged out of the car, stripped of thier liscence, and tazerd.

I have to agree with this, when you make a product illegal and risque. The profit will simple circulate in another market I.E A gaint Black Market. This is exactly what happened during the "Prohabition era" of america. Giant gangs formed, and alchol abuse was at it's high.
Besides the only reason why marijuana is illegal, is because if it were utilized for its vast array of commercial products, it would create an industrial atomic bomb.

As for the drug issue, I don't believe in enforcing drug laws because I know the market will handle consumer care. Ofcourse there will be idiots who abuse it, but as long as demoRats don't get involved in forcing insurance companies or using state funds to cover for druggies, most will watch how much they consume. Left to the private industry, most insurance companies would not cover someone who abused crack or whatever. Hell, they treat you like a second class citizen when you smoke tobbacco!
Done properly there would be nothing wrong with drugs, however, most often, especialy in America; the land of excess. They never do anything properly.

Legalise. Would take it out the hands of criminals and get rid of the shit that goes around here in the UK.
