Yes, because it's silly to fill up our jails with people who are only there for dealing pot, which is as much a crime as being a bar tender. And everyone already stated that tobacco and alcohol are worse, and those are legal. So marijuana should be legalized, but there should be restrictions on it, like there are smoking (can't do it in public, at least not in my state) and alcohol (can't drink and drive) etc., etc.

Not to mention even if marijuana was as bad for people as health class likes us to think, it should still be legal on the basis that its a personal freedom.

lets not split hairs however. There IS imparement of driving ability from marijuana.
However, it isn't in motor function (marijuana doesn't affect motor function), it comes from attentional deficits. Basically, when you are high, it is much more difficult to block out distracting stimuli (or to hold a single object in attention), which can lead you to not pay as much attention to the road as you should, or rather, as you would when not high.
