True, it would probably go up at least at the beginning. Problems associated with it would also drop at the same time.

The "it leads to harder drugs" just doesnt fly with me. I agree that "buying weed from a dealer" does lead to harder drugs, and thats one of the major reasons it should be legalized.

Ive never been asked if I want any coke or acid when Im standing in line at the liqour store.

Its the nature of its being a crime that makes it a "Gateway" drug.

Besides, I have many many friends who dont smoke it now and wouldnt smoke it just because its legal, which is what I think people are afraid of happening if its made legal.

Everyone is going back and forth about the negative and postive effects of it, and this isn't going anywhere.

Why is it illegal if cigarettes and alcohol aren't? It clearly isn't as bad. And the fact that LSD and pot are classified in the same category as heroin... wow. These drugs are practically harmless whereas heroine.. wow.

LSD and marijuana both should be legalized.

We should also give everyone a lifetime supply of soma 😐

Crack should be legal.

It should remain illegal if only to piss off the annoying people who smoke it. There is nothing more boring than a stoner. They are some of the least interesting people you could ever meet and their dissatisfaction if well worth it being illegal. **** any other reason.

So in the play drug gangs had less control of the stuff therefore there were less shootings, there were fewer drunken alcoholic louts because weed makes you mellow and not aggressive, not to mention the money saved in the health system due to alcohol related illnesses.
Fewer people suffering from various ailments, etc etc.

Marijuana is a miracle plant, part of nature and should be legalized.
