We are making fun of a resemblance (I do just that, at least). But i don't think that it has to become a political thread, and I hope the mods will intervene if that is the case, and move it were it belongs then.

It had started as a topic about pope/palpy resemblance. If you read the whole thread, you can figure it. 🙂

Denki, the Pope is so old always b/c of the process which they go through to get there, they first half to be elected to bishop and then cardinal, then the college of cardinals elects the pope, so needless to say it takes a while and you have to accomplish alot so that takes time

Excellent job finding that resemblance. I, too, am a devout Catholic, but I know of nothing in church doctrine against laughing at humorous occurrences.

Pope Benedict XVI is a traditionalist, the same as John Paul II was. He's not, evil, he's not a Nazi. He just wants to get the Church back to its roots.
