What books should be made into movies

Started by Phoenix3 pages

Tamora Pierce, Mercedes Lackey and Terry Pratchett - all their books would make excellent films! 😄

Definately these:
1. Deltora books (all: Dragons..., ... Quest, ... Shadowlands)
2. His Dark Materials (all: Golden Compass, Subtle Knife, Amber Spyglass
3. Hobbit
4. Warriors (all: Into the wild, Fire and Ice, Forest of Secrets, Rising Storm, Darkest Hour, Dangerous Path)

The Dark Is Rising series By Susan Cooper

deltora quest by emily rodda shes made i think like 9 or 8 books of that
serise.

Angels & demons(though I wopn't be able to see it since it would be R or NC-17)
Charlie and the great glass elevator(I don't know how it would turn out but I loved the book even though it wasn't as good as the first one)

Maybe I would like if they made a movie out of te hatchet too.

im making a hatchet fan film 🙂

"The Hobbit"!

Also, the "His Dark Material" trilogy.

they made an animated version of The Hobbit, i have it in VHS it's a movie worth watching, I like the songs the goblins sing.

Dragonlance and Deltora Quest wold make excellent movies, they would go righ up there with Lord of the Rings and Star Wars!

The invisible man by H.G Wells.

The Edge Chronicles (If done right).
The Darren Shan Vampire Saga.
Artemis Fowl.
Alex Rider series.

alex rider is a movie its coming out this year

i completely disagree with the deltora quest books going to movies, they will rank with series of unfortunate events

I do believe though that the bartimus trilogy by Jonathan Stroud.
I also think that Homers Iliad/Odyssey would be a movie worth making.
I would also say Eragon/Eldest, but they are coming out this December.

Hobbit comes out this year too.(NOT ANIMATED)

i am going to disagree with you disagreeing,( i hope that made sense) if Peter Jackson directs it, i dont think it will turn out that bad

dragonlance would be teriffic, as long as Peter Jackson does it
