All the first years 'ahhh'ed as the food appeared before them. but james was to busy watching Lilly. 'next time you talk to her try not to get her hurt, if theres a next time' james thought he looked down at his food but he wasnt hungry. he turned to his friends when he heard them laughing "whats so funny?"
"look at that kid" remus whispered to james. james looked over at the slithrin table, there was a little boy, with black greasy hair and a thin face. "whats his name again sirius?"
sirius smiled "his name is severus snape" he laughed eviliy "and itseems he likes lilly aswell". james looked over atseverus snape and he instantly hated the other boy.

Lilly sneaked a look at james and he seemed angry at someone, he was staring at the slithrin table. at a certain boy,
she felt sorry for the other boy because it seemed he didn't have any friends and james and his friends were laughing at the other boy. 'oh no was i wrong about james? is he a bully?, should he be in slitherin house?' lilly asked herself silently then she continued to talk to the other girls in her year.
