Leo flew down the stairs to the source of the alarm; sai's whipping aimlessly at her thighs. She had instantly taken the opportunity to pull off her dress once the alarm sounded, a pair of black hot shorts and a matching leather sports bra revealed, straps tied daintily around her neck.
Eyes adjusting to the dim light of the prisoner's hall, Leo pushed herself through the developing crowd of soldiers, hissing as she finally reached the front. Blowing her bangs from her eyes in her frustration, she bowed her head curtly before addressing her commander, Damien. “I heard the alarm. What had happened to disrupt something so glorious as the…”
****ing waste of time that is the…
“…Ball?” finished Leo, unable to resist thinking the side comment, a smile tempted to curl the corner of her lips. She bit her lip in order to stay serious, her Commander apparently not in the mood.
“The prisoner escaped during the affair,” He hissed, seemingly bitter at the thought.
“Escape…or set loose…” murmured Leo to the side, a semi-quote of a line she’d heard not too long ago from one of the few good movies done by the humans.
Damien threw her a strange look. Eyes back to his waiting soldiers, he ordered. “Search the perimeter and set up boundaries. He has not gone too long ago so there is still a chance to bring him back!” The soldiers nodded, going off onto their instructions.
Leo nodded her head, backing herself up the stairs, holding no intentions of doing any such thing. Catching note of her insolence, Genesis pulled her aside wide-eyed. “What are you doing? Are you trying to get yourself in trouble twice in one night?!”
Shaking herself loose of the steel grip, Leo kept her eyes forward as she headed to her dormitories. Glancing back, not sure if she was being monitored, she said deceptively quiet in pig Latin, “Ethay isonerpray idn’tday capeescay.” [[The prisoner didn’t escape]]
“Eallyray…?” Genesis threw her hands behind her head, ducking as she walked after Leo into her room. “Atwhay akesmay ouyay aysay atthay?” [[Really? What makes you say that?]]
“Close the door!” snapped Leo, not willing to risk the Commander overhearing the conversation piece once more. Sure her room was secure, Leo pulled off her heels, explaining. “What would you think if you had one of your soldiers captured and then a few hours later, they were promptly dropped off to your doorstep, tortured, ALIVE, and with a message? Wouldn’t that be one of the greatest WTF moments in your life?”
Smirking, Leo stepped behind a small divider, changing into a pair of leather jeans and matching black shirt and trench coat. “If we did something like that, it would make us seem far too soft. Especially considering we could have killed him and engraved the message, gold italics, into his skull…” She drawled out the idea as if she planned on trying it out.
Catching the black shorts and shirt thrown her way, Genesis arched a skeptical brow. “You do realize same said prisoner was shocked into unconsciousness and strapped down into his chair?”
“You do realize that being shocked works both ways…” Leo laughed smoothly psychotic, the cackle suiting her well. She pulled on her boots. “One can get shocked to the point of being comatose…and at the same time, the right amount of shock can make one come back to life. All that was needed was a minor jolt…the right tools oh too conveniently by his side and voila!”
Leo pushed aside the divider, throwing on her coat. “Ze perfect set up was made. He bypassed ze guards in the know, was allowed to roam the grounds, and made it back to his manor, falsely informed of our defenses and soldiers making up the mansion. Its suck to be underestimated but even more so when you underestimate…and if the Inferi happen to take true what he witnessed on our grounds, that’s one up for us, ya know?”
“Crazy ass…you could be a storyteller!” Genesis laughed.
Leo cocked an Uzi, haphazardly hanging it over her shoulder. She smiled toothily. “I don’t tell story’s, that’s the damn truth. If it weren’t, Commander Gray would’ve been in deep shit with the Ancient by now. Well, duty calls…” She walked in reverse, back inches from the window. “Au revoir!”
Jumping out the window, Leo fell outside onto the grass of the manor, falling in line with the soldiers setting up the perimeter. There was no point getting herself in trouble twice in one night…
(ooc: hope that was an okay fix to what happened earlier…if not, tell me something I should fix in fifteen minutes or less…oh, and darkdeath, hope you don’t mind the minor control)
