Moore's version was perfectly sane.
He just wasn't sky father level powerful, like Rob's.
Beating Odin's ass is obviously above Herald.
When he faught Gladiator..(yes, Marvels Gladiator...Kallark) It said in the comments that Supreme is TWICE as powerful as Gladiator.

what comments? on the forum? in the book he certainly wasn't TWICE as strong. stronger, but not by that much - and glads was clearly the better fighter. in those early supreme's he admited that he had never before beaten that thor - though he finally did in a pretty bad fight. not sure why people think THAT thor was tougher than marvel's. i didn't think he was. i've read those issues many times and never saw evidence of it. he also battled pitt and pitt came across as the stronger of the 2 to me - though it was close, and pitt did pretty well against the hulk. i'd say they were all pretty close in strength.
supreme's big thing was his invulnerability. now THAT may be worthy of a protest. damn guy was almost unharmable.

Her magic isn't too much, it's in the fact that people don't seem to comprehend she can't actually do whatever she wants. People can say she can all they want, it doesn't mean she can. regardless of what i believe might have'should have happened in that battle - the voters still backed YOU. enough people felt your arguments sound so you had plenty of support. we differed in our opinions, but it was YOUR fight and you won fair and square by votes. so why give that victory away? you earned it.

Being the KMC tyrant is a tough job. You have to have just the right amount of hatred, and the right amount of sympathy. Too little sympathy and you become hated by all (AC) and are forced to leave because people learn to see through the fact that NO ONE knows everything. If you have the right balance, people have a harder time accepting this fact.
Besides, I wasn't even posting scans that battle, and considering how many comics I have at my disposal, that should tell you how much I put into that fight.

double checked that one-shot - read through the whole thing and no mention of supreme's being twice as strong. the narration at the start is gladiator himself and the closest he comes to saying anything about supreme's power is this:
'what manner of beings . . . no, being. the distress beacon specified a single attacker. that would put the attacker's power at a level equal to, or greater than mine.'
and that's it. as i said - i think supreme was shown to be stronger - but not by too much, and glads was certainly smarter and the better warrior. as with all x-crossovers, there was no decisive winner of course, but as battles went it wasn't bad.
