she didnt start out as a telepath. She got rudimentary telepathic powers in like issue 40 or so of uncanny. and she was still pretty weak.

yea, because a) theyre more interesting because of his accident and b) theyre all he has, hes a regular dude. And if you read up on him from the early days you see that it causes him a lot of grief and shaped his character (why hes so closed off and stuff).

Superman's eye beams are just decoration. He doesnt need em.

Not Sunglasses indoors, actually why am i laughing at SS (thats S.Summers not the other SS) I have always enjoyed his boyscout rendition, nearly as much as supes 😄

Superman's a great character. To be completely honest, he isn't really lame, or overpowered. It's just that he often gets more credit than he deserves.
