Look at it this way: Xavier can mind control powerful telepaths so even a very strong willed non-telepath is fairly easy for Xavier (being alien has no effect on this - unless iron will was a stated Superman power). The X-Men beat Magneto when there's a telepath around, or cause the fight is someway stopped, Magneto was able to stomp the Avengers, even with some cheap writing helps, like him stopping Mjolnir, Thor's hammer, the X-Men are not a threat for him, like showed on various occasions, remember Polaris changing the course of the blood in the X-Men bodies when Havok leaved her before they get married?And she's not powerful as her father, so imagine what Maggy can do the X-Men, guys like him and Graviton lose fights cause self confidence and god-complex let them giving their enemies the chance to enter in close quarter combat and gain the upper hand.

Superman is not Gladiator which confidence fluctuating means losing his powers, few seconds of Heat Vision, which travel at lightspeed or near it, is sufficient to take out the X-Men with ease.

youre right, Superman has an even more obvious weakness than gladiator, a green rock.

at least glads's weakness is cool 🙄 😄

Wolverine
Cyclops
Beast
and White Queen

and so would kick super man
emma and jean would hurt his mind whilst cyclops blast him and Logan and beast smash him to bits
then he turns crispy cause of the Pheonix

Against the New Xmen Supes would lose. They have prep time for gods sakes. Supes doesnt fly at the speed of light while in an earth environment because of the atmospheric damage it would cause. Supes would be flying at mach speeds. Thats fact thats not debatable. With the telepaths on the team and prep time. Bye Bye Supes.

New X-Men are Cyclops, White Queen, Wolverine, Beast, Marvel Girl (Rachel), Bishop, Sage, Storm, Nightcrawler, Cannonball.
After reading the last issue released in Italy, seeing that Rachel needed the help from his teammates to open a wormhole and hurl into it the robot that was sent to kill them, I think they have a chance if someone can slow down or hold down Supes, but none of them can.

No. The New Xmen are Phoenix, Emma Frost, Wolverine, Beast, Cyclops and Xorn. The team youre on about K is in Uncanny Xmen.

to be honest there is no "new x-men" team any more. That team ended when Jean died. Now theres Uncanny, Adjectiveless and Astonishing teams.

Based on what, he loses confidence, many men like Glads suffer from this. They take Vi=gr- for it and its not really cool 😄

Um.. lets get back to the debate.

I think we've pretty much settled this issue. But just because I enjoy repeating myself: Lex Luthor DOESN'T just have stores of Green K on hand, everytime he pulls it out Superman destroys it, so he always has to find some more himself between villainous superplots.

The X-Men have no chance. It's amazing this thread has gotten this huge..... powered by the sheer indomitable stubborness of the X-Fanbase. 🙄 Isn't this why everyone hates Wolverine?

Okay first of all this is an even battle.... I tried very hard to make it balanced.. I don't see how you can say the x-men have no chance. They have info on superman and prep time and superman is going to get ambushed.

I have a problem though with all Superman v threads, Kal el is both Superman and Superman Prime. Superman is Superman prime. We are always supposed to take a character at there top level. Superman is Kal el, Superman Prime is the most powerful we have seen Kal el. Superman and Superman prime are the same character, Superman.

So Superman should almost always win

If thats the case whirly then the only reason Jean was taken out of the roster for this thread earlier on was because she was too powerful, however if you want to argue that Superman Prime should be alllowed because he is Kal El at his top level then surely Jean as Phoenix should be allowed and we all know who would win that match up 😄

No Superman and Superman Prime are 2 different people/ things. At least in this debate they are not the same.
