Bit Torrent FAQ part 1

(1) You need to be registered with www.demonoid.com to make this work I believe.

(2) Torrent files are not video files themselves...they are references to the actual file that let a P2P BT client (like Azureus) know who has the file and who is downloading it. This works by communicating with a tracker (also known as a web url like www.demonoid.com)

(3) Download speed is slow if you do not also upload at a fast rate.

(4) BT technology works by starting with 1 seeder and however many people want to download the file from him. The seeder uploads the file to these people in pieces so that the leechers (downloaders) can exchange the pieces among themselves for a speed increase.

(5) All downloads start slow and pick up speed as you gain more data to turn right around and share with others. As your upspeed increases, so does your downspeed.
