Agreed. Looking at pics of CE, I was like "wtf." But then I saw some episodes with him, and it worked fine.

Can't imagine Davison being as young as Smith. But I'm always willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Well, Davison was 29 when filming, Smith is 26.

seeing Martha again...assuming they actually don't mess her up like they have in every appearance of hers beyond her actual run as a companion.

However, Donna's coming baaaaack. As she was my favorite of the three, I am quite pleased with that.

I think I recall hearing something about Jack turning back up, though I don't think I saw him in the trailer. Considering the quality, though, he could have been there and just I didn't notice...

The person under discussion has been spotted at filming. nI would be wary of jumping to conclusions though. At this point, there is all manner of possible flashbacks or dream sequences under disucssion.

Regeneration stories in the past have often made use of the Doctor imagining old friends and enemies.

Skinner to star in Dr Who

The Streets frontman Mike Skinner has landed a part in hit TV series Doctor Who.

According to NME.com he wrote, "You wouldn't believe the week I've had. I can't talk about it but let's just say I got a part in Doctor Who."

But Skinner's announcement is shrouded in mystery after the message disappeared shortly after it was posted - sparking fears Skinner may have been a bit hasty in revealing the news.

After the post was taken down, the star wrote another message, adding, "And just like that the tweet is deleted."
