The Wire episode was alright, nothing special, there has been much better episodes. This week though was something different. I am happily (and embarressed) to admit that this episode actually made me scared! Well not as scared as it sounds, but it was kinda scary. If I was a child I think I would of been kinda creeped out. The thing with these new Dr Who is that every episode looks over lit, which is sometimes annoying for me, don't know why, but just is. Takes away a realistic look I think. BUT if it wasn't for this over lit look the episode would of looked creepy. Anyway, overall this episode was good, I liked it and I'm hoping the second part is just as good!
As has been discussed before, bringing back the Master brings big revm,p problems, as he had become such a pantomime villain. Someone decent would be needed to play him, too.
Doc Who vets- did people note who was the voice of the Beast? One for the continuity hogs that one. Interesting- though unlikely- if it was actually the same character.
What's your favourite episode from the new series? Mine is definitely "The Idiots Lantern" - The one with the wire, for those who don't know.
I also have to say, I absolutely agree that it was a really scary episode last week. I can say pretty safely that it was the scariest episode of Doctor Who from this and last year. I can't wait until next week!

It was exciting enough. But they've done it better before (re: Pyramids of Mars, 1970s story with Tom Baker, in which the villain was voiced by Gabriel Woolfe, same person who did the voice for the Beast in this one, which was the continuity link I mentioned above)
(Wasn't the same being though)
Your right their.
The Religious connotations rocked !
The beasts dialogue was almost symmetrical to the bibles style of speech/description .
Does anyone know where i can actually find the quotations ? Wikipedia has Nada
Well I managed to watch it on BBC3 at 7. Wow. That was really good. I thought they wouldn't be able to pull it off and top the first part. But they did, so well done. The whole thing felt like a little, well put together movie. Actually whilst watching it in my hot bedroom (no air coming in through the windows from outside) I actually felt cool. As cool as the Doctor. Bring on next week. Woop Who Woop!
