The interesting thing about the Daleks is they seldom ever appeared with an emperor in the old days. Usually they were led by a Black Dalek or Dalek Supreme, or Davros.

Davros did not come in until Doctor No. 4 am I correct?

We have never seen an imperial Dalek structure.

Correctamundo! Genesis of the Daleks, from the 4th Doctor's first series in 1975. Afterwards he was in every TV Dalek story to the end, although only appearing as himself briefly at the end of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks.

The Dalek Empire was portrayed as much more powerful, generally speaking, in the 1960s but by the 1970s-80s they were more vulnearable, always needing Davros, having civil wars with various factions, and only once on screen did we even see an Emperor. That was in 1967's Evil of the Daleks, but I don't believe it was the same Emperor seen later.

I feel sorry for the Dalek Caan, he is the only Dalek I felt sorry for him and (Oh dang I forgot his name) Dalek Caan, They, Jast and ...? Well I felt sorry for the black Dalek.

Sec, and I felt really sorry for him. That has never happened before, although the Dalek scout in Van Statten's underground lair comes a close second.

Was it Dalek They or Jast, that got a name change in this last series?

I think Jast was originally Rabe. At least that is the name given in one of the Doctor Who Files books.

And these collectors cards.

Indeed although I have not seen but a few.

I hope the classic Cybermen return.

They better I did not really like the AU Cybermen.

Niether did I.

Cybermen are aliens not humans.

I don't think the 1980s Cybermen will come back, as RTD hates the silver giant motiff. A shame as I wanted David Banks to reprise his role as the Cyberleader....

EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!

Well, if he wants to bring the cybermen back, and the ones the fans want, he will be left with little option.

we can live in hope.

Indeed we can.

Check your pm system. I believe Rose may not even come face to face with the Doctor in the episode she returns in. This worries me.

Bad times.

An understatement for sure.

Indeed.
