What RTD has done is break a lot of walls down when it comes to homophobia and allowing gay characters into a show such as Doctor Who is a big achievement for the gay community. At the end of the day we'll all equal, even if we're not all the same.

Not everyone sees it this way, and on this subject i really don't want it forced down my throught, Dr. who is not about gay people or straight people, so i don't really want to be forced gay jokes every single episode.

gay slang for gays who dress the in the same style

I think most people believed it referred to Jack's reputation of being someone who will flirt with anyone.

Personally, I think most of your so-called gay references are you reading too much into things in order to make something exist.

I think a lot of the gay stuff will go over most peoples heads actually, I mean, I didn't even know about that gay/clone thing and probably a lot of other people wouldn't. I don't mind the gay elements myself, but I like to watch it with my family and one relative doesn't agree with homosexuality and it sort of ruins the episode for them if it's just put in and pointless.

I also don't like this cater for EVERYONE crap, so what if a certain group are not represented in a television programme. It's a science FICTION show.

in fact whenever something GAY! comes up in Who i sort of just look at my gf and we both look at each other and go "yip theres this weeks gay referance"
but its got to be said that RTD wasnt very subtle was he

I'm sure a gay couple watch Who waiting for the straight referances to appear instead of just enjoying the episode. I know what I do.

RTD isn't just chucking these referances in the show just for the sake of it. I don't understand why you see it like that, unless you have a problem with homosexuals.
