In that case chat to the innkeeper and enquire about the services they offer

Why, all the normal things! Drinks, food, served at all hours; private rooms to eat in if you have the money to offer.

All above board.

Anyone else doing anything whilst Menelcar is talking?

Use a bit of the old charisma to get a bit more out of him than that!

"Any extra services a well paying traveller might get? It is good to chat. One gets very....Lonely....."

A-ha!

Well, in the interests of speed I shall move this on and assume your check is successful.

It works quite simply- if you pay the 'special rate' for food and drink, you are handed a slip of paper, telling you which room to go to and who to ask for at the door...

Whilst Menelacar and Anglomir no doubt try the manslut route of finding everything out, Gwylwyleth will try to mingle with the wealthy citizens of Fornost within the Winter Star.

"Why yes, I am an Elf," Gwylwyleth responds to anyone curious about her presence and perhaps gawking. "Sindarin, in fact."

Ok, pay the rate. For myself and Anglomir.

Are you asking for anyone in particular?

People mumble a few things, Gwil, along the lines of "never seen an Elf here before, portends bad things" etc.

"The presence of an Elf portends bad things? I've never heard that before. I am only a half-Elf, does that mean I only partly foreshadow bad things?" Ellothiel says slightly jokingly, joining Gwilwileth. Anglomir and Menelecar are boring her. "We're certainly not planning to cause any trouble..."

We didn't get a name did we? If we did, ask for her otherwise the girl who's been there the longest.

Ellothiel, you get a load of mumblemumbles in a kind of "Elves see all things and we'd rather not be seen here" sense...

Well, tha's done, Menelacar. But I am now planning to zoom this story onto its conclusion so we cna start a new story with renwed impetus.

That being so- you've got a girl (slighly 'veteran' one) but not one that is specifically worth anything- Mr. Charisma can ask her a few questions of course.

Has the inn had any 'famous' customers? Princes or the like?

Ok, yes- this place has a certain reputation for being suitable for 'distinguished' clients.

But the best are seen by the girl Rhavorniel- in fact, she only turns up when such clients are coming.

How does one book her in?

One does not, unless one is already 'in' with the particular group.

Can we find her elsewhere? Menelacar will use all of his charismatic abilities to try and extract the info.

No, becsuse the person you are talking to has no idea where she lives.

So we need to find someone who would.

That was an option but in the interests of getting this done ASAP I would prefer you took the faster option.

How about finding out how to become part of the 'in' group?

That was ALSO an option but now cut for time. Also no-one really responded to Elendur.
