Wait, was that last statement about us?

Yup.

"Do you know of any other council members who will be testing their mettle in the Tournament?"

Then I don't get the reasoning behind it.

How so?

-

"I understand young Annuneryn has entered the Tournament," he answers. "Always keen to impress."

"Aah, yes, Annuneryn. I met him earlier. Doesn't get on too well with Lord Farael, does he? Have they had a run in in the past?"

"Oh, hardly. Farael is not often around in the city anyway. Annuneryn's father hated Farael, is all."

"Really? How come?"

"He's what you might call a traditionalist. Farael's heritage sits badly with him."

"Well, I'm not one to interfere, but we fought a civil war over views like that."

A pause.

"There is a great importance to the purity of the line. Our heritage and all our hope depends on it. I wish Farael wouldn't keep drawing attention to the issue. That weapon he uses! Like a commoner!"

(what weapon does Farael use?)

"Do I take it you don't view him as a worthy appointment to lead one of the restructured armies?"

Ah well, you'll have to ask someone who saw him fight!

"Oh, maybe," says Annphor. "Maybe."

"What particular qualities do you think are needed of the potential generals?"

He raises an eyebrow.

"To be a good General. And no, I'm not going to define that.

"Now, when IS this Elf going to take her final shot..."

Is only Morsire in bad mood, or Prince Elendur as well? Elladil is a bit sad that his help is not aprreciated......

Elendur does not appear to commit.

"You know Elves, my lord, they can be a law unto themselves...!"

(Someone go poke that Elf!!!)

"More an elemental force unto themselves. Still, all we see of them are the wanderers and renegades of their society."

"Quite true, my lord"

Menelacar pauses thoughtfully, before adding..

"It has been a pleasure, my lord. I hope to see you again soon."

And with that, Menelacar takes his leave.
