USH'S LORD OF THE RINGS GAME PART 3- The Tournament and the Traitor

Started by Ushgarak132 pages

Just not your rolling day, Zinky!

Not aiming for the black and simply to hit once again!

Apparently not...

I think we are all being outshot.

Once more for the black.

This time, Gwilwileth will attempt to hit the black.

In a complete reversal of logic, this turn goes rather well for the good shooters.

Slot 1: Falas- Triple three! (9)

Slot 2: Darvan of Rivendell- Triple two! (6)

Slot 3: Edmund- In the Black! (0)

Slot 4: Ellothiel- In the black! (6)

Slot 5: Gwilwileth- One! (4)

Slot 6: Duncan of Loxleth- Five! (7)

Slot 7: William Took of the Shire- In the black! (6)

Uh-oh!

We only have three places for the final. And we have three people tied at six.

Sudden death shoot-off!

William grimaces slightly when he sees who he is up against.

"Sorry, my Elven friends," William says. "I'll wave to you from the winner's podium."

For the black!

Ellothiel will, again, simply aim to hit the target.

"C'mon guys go for it!"²

Gwilwileth applauds for the others who tried out in the competition.

"You performed effortlessly, Master Edmund," Gwilwileth says. "It has been a fair while since I have seen a Man with such a practiced hand and a keen eye for archery. Not many Men travel into Mirkwood, of course."

"I say," says Menelacar to no-one in particular, "this sudden-death shoot off is taking a little time, is it not?"

Ahhh! Oops.

But hey, I see Darvan missed it too. Ok, who votes I count him out?

Blah...

Darvan will stand aside.
"I envy no-one the task of facing Edmund in the final."

Hmm? You're still up, Darvan...

Well, Darvan goes for the black then.

(Sorry, I thought we were oversubscribed.)

Just so people know, it's reallt still Matrix that is burning up the time for this game. It'll get back into gear some time, for sure!

And the winner of the shoot off, with an arrow planted firmly in the centre of the black is... William Took!

William pumps a victorious fist into the air (which only goes up to the waist of his elven competitors, likely), doing a sort of Hobbit jig as the crowd cheers for him.

"Third isn't first, but it's still not fourth," he says to himself.

Which leaves the top three for the final shoot... at longer distance!

William will string his bow and take aim, just to hit for the first shot.

Just as a note, of course I do wan t to move on with this (gahhh!) but with two major engagements in the other two games being run here it's not very practical along with all my other committments.

Things will calm down soon enough.
