Matt also ate quietly trying not to be Rude.
He Smiled pleasantly when he noticed Jing glance at him.

Jing smiled and blushed a little, glancing over her shoulder as she heard someone choke and noticed the woman she'd helped rescue. Frowning a little she turned back to her food.

Natasha sighed again before clancing over at Jing just in time to see her turn her head. She took another bite from the burger and another drink of water. Remembering the savage beasts ravaging her troop, and her having to be rescued. She scoffed at the thought and took another bite from the burger. 'Those monsters... I wonder why I didn't even get bitten or injured...' she pndered to herself, counting how many lucky stars she had.

Jing bit her lip a little and sat back in her chair, hoping that the woman was ok while sipping at her tea.

Natasha continued eating, still having another burger and her water. She looked over at Jing, remembering she was one of her rescuers. Not that she wasn't grateful, but she would rather die in combat, even if it were those savage beasts. She shook her head to clear the thought and picked up her tray, and walked over to Jing and placed her tray beside her and sat down, not looking at the woman, "Um.. I never did thank you for being one of the soldiers who rescued me.." She said softly, looking at her un touched burger.

Jing turned her head and smiled a little, "It's my pleasure hun...you needed saving, my team and I obliged. I just hope you're doing ok." Her voice calm and soothing, she truely hoped the young woman was ok.

Natasha smiled a bit, but didn't look up, "How can i be okay when this is going on? I watch my entire troop eat eachother... But.. I'm thankful for the help... I'm in your guys' debt..." She said, keeping her soft, quiet voice. she took another drink of her water and shook her head, "I don't understand how you guys are so calm with all this.. this... this stuff going on.. I'm going insane just thinking about it.. or a salution..." she explained slightly before taking a bite of the untouched cheeseburger and swallowed and sighed, "Is there anything to do on this ship besides sleep and eat..?"

Jing sighed a little, "Not really, we're more of a military vessel with a full crew...you guys are with us as passengers and for now thats about all. Untill an emergency takes place theres not much that can be done outside of the norm." She paused, "I know how you feel, I've seen more than my fair share of death and unexplainable evil but if you can't learn to deal with it in your own way well...things'll become difficult hun. That much I can assure you."

Natasha chuckled a bit out of anger, but kept calm, "Deal with it... Deal with it? I had to shoot down more than half of my friends!" She said, almost yelling. She began crying, "How can you expect me to deal with shooting my best of friends..." She asked through sobs.

"By mourning their loss...by accepting their deaths and moving on." Jing replied softly, looking to the woman and laying a steady hand on the womans shoulder in comfort.

Natasha almost flinched at the touch and continued crying, "But.. I shot them, You have no idea how it feels to know someone for so log and just having to put a bullet through them..." She cried, knowing that probably wasn't true, but she felt horrible.

Jing bit her lip and sighed, moving closer to the woman and looking her in the eyes, "Actually I know exactly what it's like...one of our survivors wasn't exactly clean and killed a few good men that I knew here. I had to shoot the man I had loved along with two childhood friends along with the survivor. So yeah...you could say I've endured a few rough patches." She smiled calmly and wiped the tears from the woman's cheeks.

Natasha sobbed, "I-- I don't know how to deal with it.." She said, "I don't know how you can..."

"By accepting what the world has instore for me. I'm only calm because my inner wounds have healed with time. That's all you have to do hun...give it time." Jing replied calmly.

Natasha sniffled her sobs and looked up at Jing and sighed again, "But.." She started, but stopped herself and smiled a bit, "D oyou guys have any headache medicine?" She asked, having developed a lrge headache.

Jing nodded, "Go to the med bay, just follow the signs with the red cross on them but I think you should eat a little before you go."

Natasha nodded and took another bite of the burger, "It's hard to deal with when you lost everything you had...." She said as she ate, hating the world and dealing with a headache at the same time.

Jing nodded, "I know how you feel." She said quietly and sipped her tea, smiling slightly over at her new friend Matt for a moment.

Natasha nodded, "I guess so... I mean.. If i were the only one who felt this way.. I'd end it myself.." She said and sighed deeply and took another bite.

Jing nodded, "Well take solice in the fact that you're not alone."

Natasha looked down at the tattoo on her hand and touched it with her other hand, "Yeah..." She said, "I-- I wonder how the rest of the on shore world is doing..." She said quietly, not even daring to think about what sort of hell the world might be going through.
