CNN makes me laugh

I don't know if people realize this but using the

😆 or 😂

smilie at the end of their posts when they are trying to prove a "point" really only makes them the "victor" in their own mind.

I read it and yea I could read your post if I wanted too. Also your post proves why you are my ignore list!jm 😆

if he is on your ignore list then why do you respond to him yet again....come to think of it....why are you reading this now since i am SUPPOSED to also be on your ignore list. everyone knows you are lying and that we are NOT on your ignore list!PVS 💃

EDIT - my mistake

mistake? but its true. i guess you mistook my playful sarcastic use of a smilie as a genuine attempt to seem right, but you are correct in the mentallity of those who use smilies as an attempt to solidify their arguement.

what especially annoys me is the overuse of laugh smilies and 'lol' and 'rofl' etc, when you know damn well they are not laughing.

.....................so how about Cnn?

The thing about CNN I remember the most from last year was when they were doing the hurricane coverage. It was, I think, Hurricane Jeane, which was the fourth major one of the season at that point, and the meteorologist started snapping at the anchorperson because their "slide show" wasn't working properly.

It was probably their third straight day of coverage and the meterologist was at the end of her straw and definately came across as someone I would have no desire to work with. It was humorous, though.

Bill clinton lied about having sex and got impeached.
Bush lied about a war and got re-elected

In Defence of CNN

Nobody has nicer suspenders than Larry King - NOBODY!

CNN sucks balls! That dude who does the reporting at the UN is a fnock-head. The advert for the show is a joke too...

The only news I do trust is the BBC, but then I don't trust them very much either...

This really isn't very difficult to sort out. The conceot that Bush lied is nowhere near as entrenched in the US as the idea Balir lied is in the UK, hence the parralel is now drawn.

Not that that makes the UK any more sensible, as it is only, basically, the desire to think Blair lied that makes people think he did- and that certainly was from a media campaign.
