withstand against Apoc in physical confrontation, Apolypse is not that powerful somes consider him to be.
And you are saying he is not underrated, Cable who can lift one ton, Apocalypse suppsoedly incaalculable strenght and go toe-to-toe with Apocalypse, now, this is one of the worst writing by Marvel ever and will stay that. Apocalypse beat Celestial, beat High Evolutionatry, two higher entities, he beat them. Apocaylpse wirtten properly will stomp on Silver Surfer and Scarlet Witch.

hum? when did apoc beat a celestial and high evolutionary?
He beat and schooled Evolutionary in X-Factor Annual 03.
Gambit vol. 3 # 3 it was mentioned that a Celestial came down to Earth and took the human form of Garbha Sien, the External Saul, and became an Asian conquerer, and Apocalypse defeated the Celestial, making him helpless (who had shown he still had his powers), wounded him badly, and took his ship, which than became his.

now THAT is crappy writing. if apoc took out a celestial, he would be in the top five or ten most powerful beings in marvel.how in the hell did he take out a celestial, even the weakest of which can terraform entire planets on a whim?
That is proper writiting. The first time Apocalypse was given cosmic entity status was in X-Factor 68 (by Lee/Claremeont/Portacio), where it was said he has a place in the cosmic pantheon, but he was awoken from his sleep too early and hence wasn't up to his rightful power, and that he uses many bodies at once/avatars, and X-Factor 67 has a bit on this, and mentions he distorted time. In Cable 1, 2, and 5 and X-Men 23 it mentions Apocalypse exists in all realities/timelines at once (all 3 written by Fabien Nicieza). Apcoaylpse never lived up to his true pwoers, X-Facotr menitoned that for the first time.
