I must be doing this subconsciously. Could you point out when I've done this?
If so, is it really much worse than "Hal wins?"
If I don't feel that I'm incorrect I won't back down. It's called debating you're right. I'm not trying to please anyone.Debate? No that is wrong. You start insulting other forum members when u start to lose a debate, forum members whom u should have respect for.
The same can be said of many of you, especially when arguing on Superman's behalf. Let's not be hypocritical.I just hope that was not aimed at me. I know there are Superman fanboys on this forum, i didnt say otherwise. But just because I have a Superman sig please do not come to the conclusion that im a Superman fanboy, very unfair.
I don't wish to get into an argument so lets leave it there.

I'm not implying that you are a fanboy. Assuming someone is a fanboy by their paraphernalia is idiotic. Not that that makes it right, who have I insulted without it being in retort?

I beleive you were the first person to insult in this thread, using a comic forum definition.
I was responding to Avalonofthewind, who has been hostile towards me in the past. Whirlysplat apparently thought the comment was directed at him.
Perhaps he was joking, but Whirly made a rather biased remark in the Superman vs. Silver Surfer thread.

Thats not really an excuse mate but you did apologise for it.

But im away for now, cya later.
Let's return to the debate.
It really isn't fair to compare a character's apparent shortcomings that appear in certain comic books. Plots can affect a character performance. Don't compare their losses and shortcomings, compare their greatest feats. Let's assume both are performing at optimum efficiency, and fighting to the very best of their ability, using any power or ability at their disposal. Compare the two characters.
